Inspired by high-performance sports cars, the QX50 Front Midship (FM) platform centers the vehicle's weight to help deliver quick steering response and precise balance through curves. Additionally, the turning radius and independent suspension help intensify the connection between driver and road.
With a 325-hp 3.7 liter V6 with 267 lb-ft of torque, you'll notice an unmistakable hint of its potential in the dual-polished exhaust tips.
Intelligent AWD adjusts handling and power in all conditions. It monitors wheel spin, throttle position and speed and diverts up to 50% of the available power to the front wheels if conditions are less than optimal. When AWD isn’t needed, 100% of the power goes to the rear wheels.
Through INFINITI Voice Recognition, you can control QX50’s Navigation System with voice commands. Get detailed traffic info from NavTraffic and weather updates and forecasts from NavWeather, both provided by Sirius XM®. The Lane Guidance feature shows you which lane to be in when approaching an interchange or exit.
Vehicle Dynamic Control helps correct oversteer or understeer by applying brake pressure to individual wheels and adjusting the engine's power output. The Traction Control System helps enhance wheel grip when accelerating by sensing wheelspin and automatically reducing engine output and/or braking the spinning wheel.
