Featuring martial art performances, lion and dragon dances, an all-girls drill team, and many other local groups, this will be a show to remember. The streets will be brought to life by traditional Asian music and gorgeous displays of red and gold. The route begins on South King St. at 7:00 PM on Sunday and ends on S. Weller St.
The Paris and Berlin underground cabaret shows have escaped from the roaring 1920’s and made their way to Seattle! On July 27th, the Magnifique burlesque show will bring sizzling acts to the stage for your enjoyment. A variety of performers from Le Faux will grace the stage. The doors open at 6:00 PM with dinner and a full bar. Guests who dine-in will have the luxury of preferred seating.

If you are intrigued by Scandinavian culture, load up the family and head over to Viking Days on July 14th and 15th. Hosted by the Nordic Heritage Museum in Ballad, this event kicks off with a Swedish pancake breakfast. A Saturday afternoon salmon bake will be paired with ancestral music. You can even venture through an encampment replica and enjoy the local beer garden.
If you are looking for something exciting to do this weekend with the kids, head over to Dragonfest in Seattle’s historic Chinatown on July 14th and 15th. This entertaining street fair will feature Japanese and Korean drumming, Pacific Islander dancing, Chinese martial arts, and a Bollywood performance from India. Over 40 restaurants will also be present. You can taste all of Asia for just $3! This festival will last for fourteen straight hours.
Love to experience new things? This weekend Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA hosts the illuminating East Meets West Fest. There will be 30 amazing speakers (including Murali Venkatrao and Christy Johnson) and a full day of transformative workshops (yoga anyone?) followed by a keynote presentation from the United Nations Global Ambassador Peace Award Recipients, Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi Novak.
