You already love INFINITI vehicles. You may even know an awful lot about them--their specs, various models, and of course these cars’ many awesome features. When it comes to the automaker’s past, though, are you a trivia buff? We’re here today to teach you a bit of the history of this manufacturer.
In 1989, INFINITI launched in the United States with 51 dealerships. At that time, there were 2 models to choose from. The first was the powerful Q45 sedan, and the other was the exciting M30 coupe.
In 1995, the VQ engine was introduced. It was so impressive that it ranked as one of Ward’s 10 Best for the next 14 years. The brand knew it was onto something. Ultimately, this evolved into the V6.
In 1999, INFINITI launched its Total Ownership Experience®. This enables drivers access to exclusive offers and travel opportunities. Today, there are over 400 dealerships in the United States.
INFINITI is just as great today as it was back in 1989. Stop by our dealership and test drive a wonderful Q50 or Q60, both of which feature the Twin Turbo V6 engine that evolved from the VQ. These vehicles are powerful, sleek, and beautiful to behold. Hurry in!Â
