Featuring a proprietary Rear Door Alert System that comes standard in all models, thisÂ unique function wasÂ designed specifically for active families.

The RDA works by monitoring the back door switches. If it detects that the entry/exit sensors were triggered before a trip and then not re-opened after arrival, it will respond with a series of notifications. Alerts begin only when the vehicle is put into park, and the ignition is off. First, the operator willÂ receive a visual reminder in the instrument panel. Then, if no action is taken, as you exit and walk away from the QX60, a progression of subtle but distinctive chirps of the horn will sound.
