When INFINITI adopted its Q nomenclature in the U.S. for 2014, the then M37 and M56 sedans were consolidated into one luxury nameplate - the Q70. ProACTIVE is the only options package available on all 2018 Q70 models.Â Those who value peace of mind will appreciate the suite of advanced safety tech that it has to offer.

Kicking off ProACTIVE's list of enhanced features is the automakerâ€™s Intelligent Cruise Control with distance assist. INFINITIâ€™s ICC uses laser sensors to monitor traffic andÂ automatically slows down or speeds up to keep the driver's pre-set pace to the car ahead. A standard CC setting is also available for additional on-road flexibility.

Also included in this options package is Active Trace Control. Based on traditional ESC systems, this enhanced version constantly monitors steering inputs, wheel speed, yaw rate, and lateral/longitudinal forces. If a loss of stability is detected while cornering (at the entry, mid, or exit point), ATC automatically applies braking power to individual tires until traction is restored.
