Have you heard the gossip? Nissan and INFINITI will probably be debuting electric vehicles at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The news came from the brandâ€™s brilliant chief designer, who suggested that the cars will be an expansion of the prototypes displayed last year: the Q Inspiration concept.

Thereâ€™s also talk of a next-generation, thinner and denser â€œmagic carpetâ€ battery pack, which will be able to power larger automobiles. Unfortunately, thereâ€™s not a lot of information about it, so we'll have to wait with bated breath to see what remarkable advancements the company has in store for us (donâ€™t worry, itâ€™s only a month!)

In the meantime, if youâ€™re in the market for a more environmentally-friendly model, why not check out the 2018 Q60? This beauty has the first-class VC-Turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that pumps out 300 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Itâ€™s the only motor that can change its variable compression ratio, which ensures both strength and good fuel economy. On that note, this lovely machine gets an EPA estimated mpg of 27 on the highway and 19 in the city, so itâ€™s excellent for reducing pollution and easy on the wallet.
