We’re back this week to discuss some of our top sellers with you… and we can say with authority that few vehicles move off our lot here in Tacoma quite as quickly as the QX60 does. It’s a stellar crossover with incredible performance and a smorgasbord of features.
There’s a lot of “grunt†to this vehicle—you’re not going to feel like you’re lacking any power. The 3.5L V6 motor impresses with its generous output of 265 horses at 6,400 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 248-lb.-ft. at 4,400 RPM. And you’ve likely never experienced shifting like this before… perhaps because you are literally not going to feel it on this model. That’s because instead of a traditional automatic, the car is imbued with an Xtronic two-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT) that has limitless gear ratios for imperceptible shifts.
The 2015 QX60 is also exceptionally well outfitted. Heated mirrors and electronically warmed cushions are standard. The 50-50 bench third-row arrangement enables easy cargo loading thanks to how quickly the seats can be folded down.
