Today, we wanted to figuratively “zoom in†on the 2016 INFINITI QX60. Why? Well, the bang for your buck here is positively immense. Even in the base trim, you’re getting a sensationally outfitted crossover that supplies ample performance and lofty comfort and convenience.
It’s quite a blast to climb into the 2016 INFINITI QX60 and head down the road. In most other vehicles, such a practice is immediately underwhelming and trite. However, here it’s more of an experience thanks to the wonderful 3.5L V6 motor. It produces sterling numbers—265 HP at 6,400 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 248-lb.-ft. of torque at 4,400 RPM. There’s also an Xtronic two-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT) that creates a stunningly smooth ride.
Looking around the interior, you’re bound to be impressed. Leather is everywhere, and the front seats and side mirrors are heated. Overhead, an express open/close, sliding and tilting sunroof literally brightens things up further. Plus, there’s dual-zone automatic air conditioning in the fore, with rear passengers not left out as a function of the included, separate rear AC controls.
