INFINITI of Tacoma’s shares program is wonderful. We tried for over 3 months to sell our car ourselves. What a giant pain in the neck. We either got offered such a crazy low amount for our car, or they wanted to buy it, but wanted us to carry a contract. ETC.. So we finally decided to take it to Car-Max to get it appraised. We thought that we should get a second opinion. Boy are we happy that we did. So we went over to the Fife area and pulled into INFINITI of Tacoma. We asked if they bought cars, they said yes, but with a twist. They told us about their shares program and then appraised our car. If you think about it this program makes perfect sense. Everyone on the planet is advertising that they want to buy your car. INFINITI of Tacoma is no different. They need inventory and what they offer blows the competition out of the water. I got a bid from Car-Max and asked if they would offer the same program, and they thought that I was NUTS! I told them that INFINITI of Tacoma did, and they said that they didn’t and couldn’t offer anything like that. Maybe someone else offers this, but I have never heard of it. Of course, like many people, we were SKEPTICAL at first. We were expecting them to really try and sell us a car when we got there; but, within a few minutes of being there, we realized that all they were really interested in was trying to purchase our car. Of course, like many people, we were SKEPTICAL at first. We were expecting them to really try and sell us a car when we got there; but, within a few minutes of being there, we realized that all they were really interested in was trying to purchase our car. They appraised our car and gave us an offer of what they would pay for our car. Their offer was higher than the two other offers that we already received. So selling them the car was an easy decision. Less than 2 weeks later we were notified that our old car had been sold, and we had a check for over $1300.00 coming our way for our portion of their Shares Program. So we can say without a doubt that their Shares Program is for real! They were all very professional and very friendly. Never once did my husband and I feel any pressure. Will recommend! They appraised my car and gave me an offer that was good for 7 days. So I decided to shop around. I found one more dealer that said they would match their offer. When I asked them if they offer a similar program to INFINITI of Tacoma’s Shares Program, they looked at me as if I was crazy and making this up. They pulled up INFINITI of Tacoma’s website while I was still there. They told me that they had never heard of anyone that offers anything like this. I called Steve at INFINITI back and accepted their offer. They had a check all ready for me when I arrived and even drove me home. Our first instinct was there must be some angle. So I called first to verify that their Shares Program was for real with no contingencies and they assured me there were no costs or fees associated with their program. Their used car manager, Joe Paulhus, said that many of their shares customers felt that way at first and that they urge their customers to shop around to compare for ourselves. So we took their advice and had our car appraised at 2 other dealerships. Car-Max was the lowest offer that we received. Since theirs was the highest it was an easy decision so we sold it to them.
