Standard on all 2018 NV200 vans are roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags for front occupant head protection, front seat-mounted driver and passenger side-impact supplemental air bags, and an Advanced Air Bag System. The AABS includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors, as well as an occupant-classification sensor. In the event of a crash, the NV200 is well-equipped to keep its passengers protected.

In addition, Nissanâ€™s Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) is standard on all 2018 NV200 Compact Cargo Vans and is designed to act as a stability control system. Its job is to help prevent under and oversteer by reducing engine speed and applying the brakes individually on specific wheels.
