Another week, another lineup of spectacular Nissan consumer reviews to cover! We wanted to highlight this excellent piece YouTuber “Eric Novak” did on the 2017 Murano S crossover. He took the car through its paces and determined that it is truly a standout when it comes to performance and standard features.




Power is absolutely not lacking in this model. The 2017 Murano S is packed with a 3.5L six-cylinder engine as standard and the result is nothing less than spectacular. It generates 260 horses and 240-lb.-ft. of torque—more than enough to send you shooting down the streets of Seattle, Renton, and Bellevue. The EPA also estimates that your fuel economy is going to be stellar. Average MPG stands at 21 city / 28 highway.

The unique thing about this S model is that, despite not being one of the upper trims, it offers consumers a ton of standard inclusions. The wheel rims are 18-inch machined aluminum and we believe you’ll absolutely adore how great they look. Also, dual-zone automatic climate control keeps the cabin the perfect temperature at all times and in accordance with the wishes of both sides of the car. And SiriusXM AM/FM/Satellite radio frees you from the limitations of terrestrial stations.

It starts with the 30 kWh, 360V lithium-ion battery. This powers the 2017 LEAF SL alongside the 80 kW AC synchronous engine. The result is nothing short of sublime—an environmentally conscious production of 107 HP and 187-lb.-ft. of torque. After a single full charge—which takes only seven hours with a 220-volt outlet—you’ll be able to cruise for 107 miles before stopping.
