Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other.

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Nissan’s 2019 wonder is set to raise the bar for four-door vehicles when it is unveiled to the public at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show in sunny California from Friday, Nov. 30 through Sunday, Dec. 9. As the flagship of Nissan’s sedan line, it will carry a large collection of impressive technologies. Chief among these is its new Safety Shield 360 system. This system provides a suite of six driver-assist technologies designed to enhance passenger safety. These include blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control (it can autonomously adjust your speed to account for changes in activity by cars traveling ahead of you), a surround-view camera system, and automatic emergency braking, among other features.

Nissan had another great month in the Seattle area as well as across the country—a testament to the advanced engineering and design practices in use when crafting their famous lines of automobiles, including the impressive, all-electric LEAF.

The numbers break down thusly for the October period in the United States: total sales (all models) of 109,962 units, with several bright spots of note to detail. Firstly, the Nissan NV200’s 1,439 units sold was up 4 percent and achieved an October record. The Frontier saw an increase in sales of 7%, too, as did the Murano (18%) and the aforementioned LEAF (9%).

The LEAF’s big sales, in particular, should come as no surprise due to the all-electric fervor in America today. The S trim of this line comes with a 110 kW engine that’s paired with a lithium-ion battery and a 6.6 kW power source. This means great things for the consumer—specifically, a total output of 147 HP and 236 joules and only a 30-minute charging time to achieve a 90-mile range.

Stop by Kirkland Nissan now to experience the LEAF, Murano, and more yourself!
Looking for a new pickup? You’re in luck, Seattle and Kirkland residents! Nissan has revealed their pricing for the 2019 TITAN and TITAN XD—two of the finest truck models coming to dealerships this year. Trust us… these machines are absolutely loaded with features!

Before we wax poetic about everything these Titan models bring to the table, we’ll get right to pricing information. The 2019 TITAN S Single Cab 4x2 will be available for $30,390; the TITAN XD S Single Cab 4x2 Gas model will be offered for $32,670; the TITAN XD S Single Cab 4x2 Diesel variant will be listed at $38,270.

All of the above are very attractive prices; particularly so, in fact, when you consider all the high-tech inclusions that come with these machines. The 2019 TITAN and TITAN XD Crew Cab and King Cab trucks sport a Rear Door Alert to remind you to check the back seat whenever the pickup is parked. A new 7.0-inch touchscreen with NissanConnect supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, the crew cab variants again boast the availability of the highly popular Midnight Edition aesthetic package.

Nissan’s performance brand—“NISMO,” the shortened form of "NISsan MOtorsports”—has carried the banner for performance cars in the global space for six decades. And now, the company is primed to celebrate the full sixty years of its dominance during their 21st-annual fan appreciation event to be held in Japan on Dec. 2.

The 2018 NISMO Festival will feature a grand total of more than 50 performance cars that have competed both locally in Japan and worldwide since Nissan’s class victory at the 1958 Australian Rally. Featured machines include rally cars from the 1950s through the 1980s; 1990s prototype machines; and modern-day GT cars.

The icing on the cake? The 2018 NISMO Festival will provide the public with its first opportunity to witness the Formula E car in action on the track. It’s an all-electric vehicle courtesy of Nissan Intelligent Mobility that will see its first competitive action weeks after its festival debut in a race in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

If you have any questions about the upcoming event or have interest in the sensational 2018 LEAF NISMO, give us a ring at Kirkland Nissan!
2019 nissan frontier seattle tacoma kirkland washingtonEarlier this week, Nissan unveiled its latest concept truck called the Frontier Sentinel at the 2018 São Paulo Motor Show. Designed by the automaker’s Brazilian styling studio, the truck is being re-imagined as a next-decade rescue truck well-suited to all types of punishing terrain.

Under its rugged body, the Frontier Sentinel is equipped with Nissan Leaf battery packs, which can deliver auxiliary power in dark conditions, whether deep in the jungle or the mountains at night. There is also a custom cargo bed that features drawers for rescue gear, like ropes, axes, flashlights and toolboxes, as well as a deployable platform that a search drone can take off and land on.

On the exterior, the truck features a colorful design that was inspired by a South American parrot species, known as the hyacinth macaw. Knobby tires and bulky wheels also add to its aggressive looks. For deep water crossings, the Frontier Sentinel boasts a snorkel and a specialty lighting system on top of the windshield. Inside the cabin, the truck features a vibrant yellow dashboard, seat trim, stitching and a central console, which were inspired by electric circuits.

In the face of disaster, the Frontier Sentinel is ready to spring into action! To learn more about this latest concept truck or to test drive a new Frontier, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, to discuss.
nissan 370z dealer in seattle tacoma bellevue washingtonFor this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Nissan returned to Las Vegas with not one, but five one-of-a-kind vehicles. We shared earlier about the Nissan Ultimate Service Titan and the Paws One Titan, but another car stole the show – the Project Clubsport 23.

Honoring the iconic 370Z, Nissan’s Project Clubsport 23 is an ongoing parts development platform built with the goal of creating a vehicle that owners can duplicate themselves using Nissan Motorsports or aftermarket parts.

Development of the car started with an older 370Z NISMO. Nissan replaced the original 350-horsepower 3.7-liter VQ37VHR engine with an all-new 3.0-liter VR30DDTT twin-turbo V6 engine, which is rated at 400 horsepower. The suspension, steering, braking and cooling systems were also revamped, while custom body panels and a burnt orange body wrap were added to the exterior. Inside, a full roll cage and diamond-pattern upholstery are a cool, but contemporary throwback to the diamond pattern vinyl used in the original 240Z. All this rides on slick NISMO-branded RAYS cast aluminum-alloy 18x10.5-inch wheels and Hankook RS4 285/35R18 high-performance tires.

Want to get your hands on the Project Clubsport 23? Sadly, it’s not available for purchase. But, Nissan Motorsports has mentioned that (depending on consumer interest) they may offer a builder's kit that consists of hard parts and electrical components to allows enthusiasts the ability to build their own customized Z car. Is this something that interests you? Contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, to inquire further.
Yes, you read that right – Nissan just broke another Guinness World Records title for the largest synchronized car dance. We bet you didn’t even know that such an event existed – well, it does!

According to The Drive, Nissan’s Middle Eastern division used 180 Patrol SUVs in two concentric lines to create a giant dancing falcon – the national symbol of the UAE – measuring 225 metres in length and 176.5 metres in width. The formation, which covered a total distance of 1,476 metres, was held at Dubai’s Rugby 7s stadium and led by Zimbabwean driver Axyl Jeffries.

See it in action here:

Surprisingly, this isn’t the first time that the Nissan Patrol has broken a world record – rather, it’s the vehicle’s third time since its sixth generation was released just eight years ago. In September 2015, the car broke the record for the fastest ascent of a 100-meter sand dune by a car, scaling the hill in only 4.9 seconds. And two years earlier, in August 2013, the Patrol successfully towed the world’s heaviest aircraft for more than 164 feet at the Sharjah International Airport in the UAE.

Incredible, right? Perhaps this might inspire you to complete a similar attempt in the Armada, which is the North American equivalent of the Patrol. To learn more, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington.
2019 nissan altima for sale in seattle kirkland washingtonGreat news, Nissan Altima fans! The all-new, sixth-generation sedan was recently named a Motor Trend Car of the Year Contender – an annual honor given by the magazine to recognize the best new or significantly refreshed cars in a model year.

Redesigned for 2019, the next-gen Altima sets a new standard for Nissan sedans by offering ProPILOT Assist technology, two new engines and the first available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive on the automaker’s car line-up in the United States. These additions are key to the Altima’s recognition by Motor Trend.

ProPILOT Assist is being offered as standard equipment on the 2019 Altima’s SV, SL and Platinum grades. It acts as a single-lane "hands-on" driving assistance technology that eases a motorist’s workload by reducing the amount of acceleration, steering and braking input under certain driving conditions. It is complemented by Rear Automatic Braking, which detects stationary objects when in reverse and applies the brakes (if necessary) to avoid a collision.

Under the hood, the 2019 Altima comes with the choice of a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine (with 248 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque) or a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine (rated at 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque). The latter powerplant is equipped with the new Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, offering year-round handling confidence, no matter what Mother Nature throws our way.

Curious to learn more about this Motor Trend Car of the Year Contender? Contact our team at Kirkland Nissan for your test drive in the all-new 2019 Altima sedan.
