I live in Ontario and wanted to purchase a Ford transit. There were many challenges in figuring out how we would get the vehicle to the East coast. Jag helped me patiently throughout the whole process. Any time I needed something I was able to text him and he responded as soon as he was able. It was a pleasure dealing with Jag and Key West Ford! Thank you all!

These guys don’t communicate with each other.

These guys don’t communicate with each other. We wasted hours at the dealership test driving and getting a contract worked out and at the last minute we were told, “ oh this truck was sold 2 days ago”. We had taken a ferry into the city specifically to purchase this truck. How hard is it for the sales guys to put a sold sign on a vehicle? You would think they would have a bulletin board with inventory sales listed. Unacceptable!

Ian Riddell, Sales manager helped us find a Sales Representative who was extremely knowledgeable in the vehicle we were pursuing. Jag Dhillon helped us navigate through all the questions we had, was patient and helpful. Our kids were entertained (with popcorn), we were give all the information needed. Michelle Kellough, was extremely helpful navigating through our warranty options, we were presently surprised with what she found for us. Thank you, this was a big purchase and a big day for us and we really appreciated all you did for us.

Off-road performance has just received a diesel upgrade - with Nissan delivering the 2018 Titan XD to the Washington market. This heavy-duty platform promises class-leading capability, reveling in its ever-surging redline (3,200 RPM); and it proves deft with each mile, introducing drivers to pure V8 power.

Are you ready, Everett?

As the Sentinel Source explains, the 2018 Titan XD has been engineered to impress. Anchored by a 5.0L Cummins V8 engine, this diesel platform generates 310 HP and 555 lb.-ft of torque. Turbochargers growl beneath its hood, providing two-stage capability (this helps to stabilize the redline and promote a fluid acceleration); while ceramic glow plugs conduct currents at optimal ratios to ensure a seamless ignition sequence. Piezo-style injectors maintain proper fuel levels; and an advanced particulate filter strips away corrosive materials to create a stronger, cleaner air flow.

To further enhance the off-road experience, Nissan pairs this platform with a six-speed Aisin automatic transmission - which boasts a low-to-high gear range that promotes superior towing. This allows the Titan to seamlessly accommodate heavy loads, utilizing transfer case technology to ensure more than 12,000 pounds of conventional trailering. No other diesel truck can compare.

If you are in the market for a subcompact SUV offering a more affordable price tag, a smaller frame and a noticeably sportier look, consider taking a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport for a whirl. It was recently ranked on the US News & World Report’s top ten list of best-rated subcompact SUVs, making it an ideal choice for urban drivers.

The 2018 Rogue Sport is available in front-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive in three well-specked trims (S, SV and SL). It gets its power from the 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve inline four-cylinder engine, which produces 141 horsepower.

For greater customization, you can select eco-mode for enhanced fuel savings, while the four-wheel independent suspension and Xtronic transmission creates a nice on-road experience. The Rogue Sport’s compact design is also ideal for urban travellers as it is easy to maneuver and a dream to park, even in tight garages or curbside spots.

On the exterior, the Rogue Sport looks sleek and stylish with its strong stance, chrome grille, 16-inch wheels and halogen headlamps. Roof rails are standard for added versatility, while a spoiler adds a nice flare to the back end, which is also complemented by boomerang LED taillights.

With a base price starting at just over $22,000, you really can’t go wrong with the 2018 Rogue Sport. To learn more about this best-seller, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, for a test drive.
When shopping for a subcompact SUV, the market of makes and model is vast. With so much choice, it can be hard to hone-in (let alone test drive) all of the options that fit your budget and needs.

The 2018 Nissan Kicks promises to simplify your decision. It was recently named a top 10 pick by the US News and World Report, which hailed the all-new vehicle for its low base price, excellent fuel economy and comprehensive list of standard features.

The 2018 Kicks is available in three well-loaded trims (S, SV and SR) with a starting price of $18,965. All models are equipped with front-wheel drive and a 125-horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 115 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable automatic transmission is also included across the board, which is rated for 31 mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.

Standard equipment on the 2018 Kicks boasts a six-speaker stereo, two USB ports, Bluetooth, push-button start, and a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system. However, if that’s not enough bells and whistles for you, you can also opt for the available eight-speaker Bose premium sound system and NissanConnect with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which allows you to easily connect your smartphone to the Kicks' infotainment system. Other optional features include automatic climate control, proximity key entry, remote start, satellite radio, a Rockford Fosgate audio system and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.

The expectation is a low one. You glance at the rugged lines of the 2018 Rogue SL and sigh - certain this crossover will prove a devourer of both gasoline and dollars. This is simply the way of the things.

Rejoice, Everett: Nissan has defied the pump station woes, fusing the 2018 Rogue SL with an efficient powertrain. Experience class-leading value with every mile.

According to Torque News, the new Rogue SL emphasizes economy - earning 25 MPGs in the city and 32 MPGs on the highway. Despite its sporty profile (which measures 185-inches long, 72-inches wide, and 69-inches high), this platform maximizes fuel distribution. Its low 3,659-pound curb weight reduces engine strain, allowing the 2.5L four-cylinder to maintain a steady power-band (rather than erratically consuming resources); while a continuously variable transmission adapts to changing terrains with ease, intuitively seeking the most efficient gear ratios. Intelligent AWD pairs electric-assisted steering with multi-link support to counter gas-guzzling friction; and all-season tires grip the pavement with greater force and promote stability.

When these technologies combine, they provide a refined ride - sparing drivers the frustration of watching the fuel gauge fall. Earn a combined MPG rating of 28 on every adventure!

Want to learn more about the 2018 Rogue SL and its top-tier economy? Contact our team today to schedule a test-drive in one of our available models.
It’s a tedious series of miles - punctuated by dusty landscapes and the shrieks of bored children. You glance in your rearview mirror and see a mutiny brewing. Your young cargo is growing restless with every minute.

May we recommend injecting some digital fun into this monotony?

As Torque News explains, the 2018 Rogue SL proves a parent’s greatest champion on the backroads - delivering an ample suite of connectivity options that will entertain tots and teens alike. Integrated Bluetooth links create virtual hot-spots, effortlessly powering smart devices; while USB ports and auxiliary jacks flank the central console, providing easy content downloads. Four speakers fill the cabin with Hi-Fi sound; satellite radio pairs perfectly with AM/FM channels; and a new seven-inch touchscreen ensures quick interfacing, with its crisp pixels and enlarged media buttons allowing users to engage with every stream.

To further impress, the Rogue SL also boasts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto software - which emables its NissanConnect console to seamlessly sync to smartphones. Access social media feeds; interact with a voice-activated text-messaging assistant (which can both read and compose emails); and keep your children engaged by streaming their favorite tunes and gaming content. Stay online with every mile.

This year, Nissan will be blowing out 50 candles as the GT-R turns a half-century old. And to mark the occasion, they have teamed up with Italdesign, a styling firmed founded by the legendary Giorgetto Giugiaro (which is also celebrating 50 years) to collaborate on a one-off Nismo-based sports car, dubbed the GTR-50.

The radically styled machine was created in-house by Nissan European and North American design teams, while Italdesign oversaw the development, engineering and production.

The GTR-50 is distinctive and crisp, boasting gold-colored highlights, a lowered roof, and an aggressive hood bulge. There are also unique headlight and taillight treatments, as well as a large adjustable wing.

Under the hood is a 3.8-liter V6 VR38DETT engine, which produces an estimated 720ps and 780 Nm of torque. Nissan also tuned the power plant to include two GT3-spec turbochargers, refreshed internals and cams, and higher-flow intake and exhausts, amongst many other tweaks.

The suspension was revised too, featuring a BILSTEIN DampTronic I continuously adjustable damping system, while the braking system incorporates Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes with bright red calipers. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, sized 255/35 R21 in the front and 285/30 R21 in the rear, add a level of grip needed to harness the engine's forces.

To say it’s a powerhouse is an understatement!

There aren’t any plans to put the GT-R50 into production as of right now. In the meantime, you can experience the thrills and chills of Seattle’s roads in a stock 2018 GT-R. To schedule a test drive, contact our team at Kirkland Nissan.
The road seems impossibly long - drenched in summer heat and slow traffic. This will be no quick cross-county jaunt. Instead you find yourself trapped in the tedious stop-and-go of seasonal travelers.

Nissan suggests choosing a comfortable pick-up for the journey - like the 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X.

As The Chicago Tribune explains, the 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X proves a welcome companion for every adventure - delivering a meticulously designed interior that emphasizes passenger comfort. Slip inside the expansive cabin (244-inches long, 81-inches wide, and 79-inches high) and discover leather-appointed seating. Ergonomic cushions boast four-way power adjusters, ensuring a custom alignment; while integrated heating technologies yield multi-level settings to counter fickle weather. An intuitive memory system defines both the steering wheel and side-view lenses, seamlessly adjusting them to driver specifications (activate this feature by engaging the Remote Start function, which uses a key-coded fob to control all motions); and an auto-dimming rearview mirror adapts to changing light levels to reduce highway glare.

To further delight passengers, the 2018 Titan XD also boasts the HomeLink Universal Transceiver - an integrated module that allows for push-button control. Activate interior lighting; engage locking mechanisms; and even open and close garage doors through this system (which is connected directly to the truck’s electrical functions, therefore requiring no battery supplements). A streamlined experience is assured.

Endure tedious summer trips no more. The 2018 Titan XD Pro-4X will instead provide relief.

If your summer adventures have you camping on the beach, Nissan has the perfect truck for you. The Titan Surfcamp is a modified pickup, boasting all the trimmings you need to catch waves or your dinner. It’s based on a stock Titan XD, making the Surfcamp the automaker’s latest lifestyle-themed project vehicle.

Under its rugged exterior, the Surfcamp features a factory-authorized Icon suspension lift kit, which is available through Nissan dealers. It rides on Icon Alpha wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and features a Fab Four Vengeance Series front bumper. The blue-and-orange vinyl wrap was inspired by a 1971 Datsun Bluebird station wagon, dubbed the JNC Surf Patrol, as well as an exterior paint option for the 1967 Nissan Patrol.

Nissan added a Free Spirit Recreation Elite Series Automatic rooftop tent and Rhino-Rack Batwing awning for a comfortable place to sleep. It also includes a roof rack and surfboard/standup paddleboard rack so you don’t have to leave your gear at home. Anglers will love the fishing rod holder that has been integrated into the front bumper and the Yeti 125-quart cooler can hold the catch. When it’s time to leave the beach, the Titan’s integrated solar shower will wash away the sand, while the wetsuit-inspired seat covers and heavy-duty rubber floor mats stand-up well to water, salt, and grit.

The 2019 Nissan Altima promises to deliver some much-needed excitement to the mid-size sedan segment with its expressive styling, uplifting interior and two new powerplants, but it’s also one of the automaker’s latest vehicles to offer advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility features.

This includes the addition of ProPilot Assist, which will be standard on the 2019 Altima SV, SL and Platinum trims.

ProPilot Assist is currently available on the Nissan Leaf and Rogue and has won motorists over with its hands-on driver-assist capabilities that help keep vehicles centered in their lane, while also navigating stop-and-go traffic and maintaining a set speed and distance to cars up ahead. It’s the foundation for autonomous vehicles of the future and one that we are excited to have on the upcoming 2019 Altima, which is expected to hit the U.S. market later this fall.

You can learn more about the technology by watching this video:

Can’t wait until late 2018 to give the Altima's ProPilot Assist a whirl? Contact our team at Kirkland Nissan in Seattle, Washington, to schedule a test drive in a new Leaf or Rogue. According to a recent Nissan Europe press release, a new three-megawatt storage system using second-life and new electric vehicle batteries is now live in the Johan Cruijff Arena, which is the Netherlands’ largest stadium. The project is a collaboration between Nissan and the arena, as well as Eaton, BAM, and The Mobility House. Amsterdam Climate and Energy Fund (AKEF) and Interreg are also supporting the venture.

The three-megawatt storage system combines power conversion units provided by Eaton – a U.S.-based power management company – along with the equivalent of 148 Nissan Leaf batteries. It works in tandem with the 4,200 solar panels on the roof of the stadium to provide back-up power. With this new technology, the arena is able to relieve the energy grid by flattening the peaks that occur during large-scale events and performances, as well as reduce their use of diesel generators.

“Thanks to this energy storage system, the stadium will be able to use its own sustainable energy more intelligently and, as Amsterdam Energy Arena BV, it can trade in the batteries’ available storage capacity,” said Henk van Raan, Director of Innovation at the Johan Cruijff Arena, in an interview. “The arena is assured of a considerable amount of power, even during an outage. As a result, the stadium will contribute to a stable Dutch energy grid.”
