Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
buy a used nissan xterra near seattle washingtonRumours have begun to bubble up that alongside the release of the new Frontier, Nissan may be planning to bring back the Xterra, an SUV that was discontinued in 2015.

Traditionally based on the undercarriage of the Frontier, the Nissan Xterra was built to be a comfortable and passenger-friendly alternative to the pickup. Whispers of a 7-seat, 3-row configuration have been circulating around the world wide web, confirming that consumers will have the opportunity to fill their vehicles with people— instead of bits of wood, sheet metal, or whatever else goes in a truck. And like its midsize cousin, the new Xterra will be versatile, able to handle both a morning commute or an impromptu vacation through the great outdoors with ease.

Speaking to media at the Tokyo Auto Show last year, Ashwani Gupta (vice president of Renault-Nissan’s light commercial vehicle department) hinted strongly that this car’s debut would occur at the upcoming 2018 Beijing exhibit.

buy a new nissan kicks in seattle washingtonIt’s a new model year for Nissan, and amongst the whirlwind of exciting reveals, a few surprises still remain. Enter the 2018 Kicks, set to be released in America this spring. Engineered to stoke the eternal fire of the crossover craze, this SUV delivers a delightfully well-rounded amount of performance for those Seattle drivers that demand versatility from their ride.

Able to balance performance and fuel economy, the new Kicks will happily provide you with plenty of pep in your urban excursions. The 1.6-L four-cylinder engine and CVT drivetrain provide 125 hp, which doesn’t sound like much, right? Yet with a maximum curb weight of 2,556 pounds, you can expect it to be the perfect amount of power— while remaining remarkably efficient (at a combined 33 mpg).

With Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the Kicks will also be able to improve your driving ability and keep you well out of harm’s way (often without you even noticing it). With a blind spot warning and rear traffic alert, expect to never be snuck up on again. Able to monitor your distance from the car ahead, this vehicle will be able to notify you if they suddenly slow down. It can even stop for you if you don’t react quickly enough.

Nissan to Thrill Seattleites and Fans Globally in All-Electric Formula E Championship

Nissan is set to compete in the all-electric ABB FIA Formula E racing championship later this year as it heads into its fifth season. And now, they know which of their drivers will be taking part.

NISMO driver Mitsunori Takaboshi will represent the brand at the Formula E rookie test. Winner of the 2017 Japan F3 Championship, he won a total of seven contests last year and held the fastest lap record in 11 of the 20 competitions he participated in. The celebrated professional fills the seat afforded to Nissan by Renault in order to help with race preparations.

The next year proves to be an exciting time for enthusiast all-electric fans in more ways than one. It also will bring the release of the 2019 LEAF NISMO, initially unveiled at Tokyo Motor Show 2017. Although details on its engine are scant, we know it’s likely to feature a highly aerodynamic red, black, and white body that’s enhanced by performance-based Continental summer tires. Its battery is also slated to be a 60 kWh variety that offers a whopping 225 miles of range.

buy a new rogue sport in seattle washingtonIt’s official! Nissan has just announced suggested retail prices for the 2018 Rogue Sport. Coming in at a minimum of $3,000 less than its beefy but best-selling counterpart the Rogue, this vehicle delivers on all the award-winning features of its predecessor —with a few unique traits of its own— while helping you save your hard-earned cash.

Though the amount of storage space in the Rogue Sport is less than its other namesake, it still possesses a class-leading 66 cubic feet— all thanks to a completely folding rear bench and separate compartments beneath the main cargo area. Say goodbye to the woes of moving day! Imbued with Nissan Intelligent Mobility, this SUV has the power to warn you of blind spots, keep you in your lane, or adjust speed when it sees a bump in the road. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

200 pounds lighter and more nimble than the Rogue, this crossover can own the city like no other. With many of the same components under the hood, the Sport has the advantage of tighter tuned suspension, giving you the ability to hop and jump through narrow urban streets with ease and agility.

But don’t take our word for it! Contact Kirkland Nissan today to come see the new 2018 Rogue Sport.
buy a new nissan maxima in seattle washingtonThe 2018 Nissan Maxima wasn’t given its name just because it sounds cool (though you have to admit, it kind of does). No, it earned that title because it is a leader in all things; from power and agility to comfort and luxury, this vehicle excels across the board. This leaves us blog posters with choice overload when trying to decide what features to brag about this time, but after careful thought and deliberation, the interior seemed a good place to start.

Sometimes the little things make a world of difference; with a center console that’s been turned 7° towards the driver’s seat, prepare to be faced with an ergonomic set of switches and knobs that are so intuitive to reach out and use, they’ll make your head spin. But the amount of control doesn’t end there. Access the Remote Engine Start app on your smartphone, and available temperature settings give you Goldilocks-style interior climate for those frigid Seattle winters.

Finding it hard to decide between performance features and luxury? No problem! Sports-styled front seats for high-G cornering prepare you for power, whereas ascot leather upholstery with available Alcantara inserts
keep things fancy. To top it all off, Nissan’s Zero Gravity tech takes pressure off your lower back and reduces fatigue.

buy a new nissan titan xd in seattle washingtonTrucks are a utilitarian’s dream; they have ample power and storage ability, and even comfortable and spacious seating if you’re the crew cab type. But what about one that takes those features and literally runs with them? Inspired by and designed with Nissan’s history of off-road racing in mind, the Titan Warrior concept is built to add a little flair to an otherwise functional ride.

The Nissan Titan Warrior maintains the famous Cummins® 5.0L V8 Turbo Diesel, imbuing it with the same brawny might from before. Included in this model, however, are functional hood vents designed to guide in cool air while you tear through treacherous terrain with ease. With racing style shocks, custom reservoir mounts, and a lengthened prototype axle in the rear, the go-wherever-you-want suspension system is where this truck truly shines.

Created to absorb the wear and tear of off-road adventuring, the Titan Warrior’s interior is (like its undercarriage) designed with fun in mind. The high strength fabric upholstery and carbon fiber surface materials are not only resilient either; with magma orange accents and stitching, they’re pretty easy on the eyes too. Top it all off with the custom steering wheel forged from a single block of aluminum, and you’ve got yourself a cockpit that’s as tough as it is stylish.

The 2018 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) kicks off tomorrow in Detroit with The Gallery. This exclusive event gives attendees an up-close look at the most exquisite and acclaimed collection of automobiles in the world, totaling $10 million.

In preparation for the 2018 NAIAS, Nissan has released a subtle teaser, which is generating a great deal of buzz. Speculation is growing amongst industry insiders as many wonder if Nissan will be unveiling an autonomous concept car at the motor show.

The 42-second video features modernistic artwork, which demonstrates how Nissan is using tradition to bridge to the future of mobility. The message is rather cryptic, but automotive watchers have suggested that the automaker is hinting at an upcoming concept car that combines Nissan’s familiar design cues with all-new self-driving safety technologies.

Many suspect that the concept car will also feature a hybrid or all-electric powertrain, given Nissan’s recent launch of the next-gen Leaf EV, as well as other electric concepts at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show. At the recent 2018 Consumer Electronics Show, the automaker also showcased its “Brain-to-Vehicle” autonomous technology, which uses brainpower to perform maneuvers quicker than the human body can react.

Needless to say, Nissan has been cooking up an amazing array of innovative technologies that have the automotive industry buzzing with excitement. Five well-equipped trim grades are also offered: Frontier S (with a 4-cylinder or V6 engine), SV, PRO-4X (4x4 only), Desert Runner (4x2 V6 only) and SL (Crew Cab V6 only).

But, that’s not all. Later this year, a new Midnight Edition Package will also be available on 2018 Frontier trucks. It will include a gloss black grille, 18-inch gloss black aluminum-alloy wheels, semi-gloss black step rails, body-color front and rear bumpers, black outside rearview mirrors and door handles, and black badging. Frontier owners can add a factory-direct Midnight Edition to Crew Cab SV 4x2 and 4x4 automatic transmission models in a choice of Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and Glacier White.

The 2018 Nissan lineup is the strongest it’s ever been. And if you’re looking for a compact crossover with plenty of vim and vigor to go alongside some impressive technology, the Rogue is a hot ticket.

Engine specifications are fantastic for its class. The 2.5L four-cylinder engine can stand toe-to-toe with any competition in its segment, providing a healthy 170 HP and 175-lb.-ft. f torque. Part of this performance package is the transmission and it’s here that the Japanese automaker also shines. The Xtronic two-speed CVT works on your behalf to offer the absolutely smoothest driving experience possible, boasting a limitless range of gear ratios. And if you have any doubts over gas mileage, get rid of them—the 2018 Rogue receives 26 city / 33 highway MPG.

This SUV incorporates smart technology, too. One of 2018’s most impressive automotive systems, regardless of manufacturer, is ProPILOT Assist. Designed around your safety needs, it automatically controls acceleration, braking, and steering to semi-autonomously guide you securely to your destination. Even stop-and-go traffic jams don’t faze it. Impressive!
