Nissanâ€™s incredible, zero-emission, all-electric Nissan LEAF saw release in the fall of 2017 in Japan. Now, thanks to a continued production ramp upÂ in Smyrna, Tennessee, the wonder car is set for North American release in Seattle and beyond in JanuaryÂ 2018.

The 2018 LEAF is a showstopper when it comes to advanced technology. ProPILOT Assist provides semi-autonomous driving in single-lane highway situations through automatic control of steering, braking, and acceleration. The vehicleâ€™s new fast connection,Â 240-volt port system also enables it to receive a charge of 88 miles in under thirty minutes. Thatâ€™s super speedy, and will certainly come in handy if you forgot to charge your car the night before.

When fully juiced up, the 2018 LEAF has a total driving range of 150 milesâ€”an improvement of 43 over the outgoing 2017 model. Itâ€™s all possible via a 40-kilowatt lithium-ion battery and anÂ electric motor that generates 147 HP and 236-lb.-ft. of torque. Youâ€™ll be able to cruise through Seattle, Renton, and Bellevue with peppy performance!
