The 2018 Nissan Titan SV may not be as big as the XD model, but it still packs the same punch. When it comes to horsepower and torque, this truck is best-in-class.
The drivetrain lying beneath the Titan's hood ensures is the secret to its success. Nissan’s 5.6-liter V8 Endurance engine produces 390 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and a whopping 394 lb.-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. All this oomph is sent through a 7-speed automatic gearbox so, when you put your foot down, this truck will be ready to go.
The Titan gets an EPA rated 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. This might not seem overly impressive but, when you consider how much power the truck has, it’s actually quite frugal.
Part of what makes this vehicle so practical is its 5.5-foot-long bed. This feature means you can throw just about anything in the back and, thanks to its 1,610-pound payload capacity, you won’t have to worry about heavy-duty items.
If you need to haul something which requires a trailer, the Titan will inspire you with confidence. This model has a maximum towing capacity of 9,390 pounds: overloading this vehicle is very difficult.
