The 2016 Altima 2.5 SL comes standard with a 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder, which offers best-in-class highway fuel economy (39 mpg) compared to any other vehicle in the midsize segment. According to Nissan, this is largely due to the Altimaâ€™s improved vehicles aerodynamics, which features an active grille shutter, a revised engine compression ratio of 10.3:1, reduced internal engine friction and an optimized oil pump. And with four-wheel independent suspension and redesigned shock absorbers, rear springs and bushings, the Altima is nice-to-drive too, delivering dynamic handling, braking and steering feel with every twist and turn.

Standard features on this sedan are plentiful and include NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps, leather-appointed seating, Bose Premium Audio System with nine speakers, heated front seats, steering wheel and outside mirrors.
