With its premium interior and available three rows of seating, the 2015 Nissan Rogue SL is a flexible choice for Seattle area families in need of a comfortable and function small crossover SUV. It also boasts great performance under the hood, offering fuel efficiency and power in equal measure.
Â
All 2015 Nissan Rogues are equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which is rated at 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque. On the SL trim, it comes mated to a continuously variable transmission and can be paired with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, which is ideal for SUV shoppers in need of good handling on all terrain. It's a peppy little machine too - in recent tests by Edmunds, the Rogue SL hit 60 mph in 9.0 seconds, which is great performance for a compact crossover, especially with all-wheel drive.
Â
But this power doesn't come at steep fuel costs. According to EPA estimates, a front-wheel drive Rogue will fetch you 28 mpg combined (26 city/33 highway), while the all-wheel drivetrain will return 28 mpg combined (25 city/32 highway), which is comparable to most sedans.
Â
And aside from its seating for seven passengers with the available third-row layout, the SL trim comes completely loaded right off the lot. This top-of-the-line grade boasts everything from 18-inch alloy wheels, foglights, heated mirrors, and a power liftgate, to plush leather upholstery, heated front seats, voice controls, and a 360-degree parking camera system.
