Pretty Good So Far
I purchased a 2017 Taurus SHO on Oct 20. Whole transaction from test drive to driving off the lot with my new car, was relatively painless. Only issue was a missing owners manual, which they said they would find and mail to me. A few days later, I received a call from Michael Nokes (an excellent sales mgr), stating that they could not find it and ordered a new one for me. Awesome. A month later, I finally had enough of the waiting and called them again wondering why I hadn't received it. "Oh... it just came in". Riiiiight... LOL. Regardless, I am happy. The only other issue I have is that, I was told my car came with Ford Pass. It does not. The Fusion Sport I was also interested in, did. So a little (a lot) disappointed about that, but I think the salesman was new and didn't know all the features that the different models have. The Taurus (even my SHO), does NOT come with Ford Pass. Sigh.
My only other complaint is with the financing. I read on their website of rates at 4 or so percent. I was given a rate of almost 7 %. As a federal employee with 30 years service in law enforcement and nearly no mortgage, and NO other debt, I expected better. A call and email to Michelle inquiring about this, garnered no response, so I took it upon myself to call Coast Capital Savings and today signed a contract for 4.25% .......much better!
Car has so far performed excellent. As for service, too soon to tell. I have not reached the mileage required for an oil change etc.
Overall, I am happy with Key West and would recommend them to others.
Painless car purchase
Jeff Upton and the team at Key West Ford Sales were great to deal with. They were super helpful and responsive to all questions, and went the distance to make a deal. There was no pressure at any point along the way. I have bought cars before and often came away feeling somehow fleeced....NOT the case here.
What’s up, Seattle? We’ve got a look at a special vehicle for you today courtesy of YouTube’s “Saabkyle04”—this spirited 2015 Nissan Juke NISMO RS. Forget everything you think you may know regarding compact crossovers. This cute car is hiding a secret—it’s super speedy!
The 1.6L motor on this vehicle is going to take you places in a hurry. That’s because it’s a turbocharged four-cylinder that’s tuned for performance. It generates a sizable 215 horses and 210-lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, the six-speed manual transmission encourages fun, rewarding driving experiences, while the EPA-estimated 34 MPG highway average ensures you’re not spending too much at the pump.
The interior of the 2015 Juke NISMO RS is also nicely outfitted. The Recaro seats are a supple simulated suede/leather combination and offer six-way adjustability to keep you comfortable for your travels outside Seattle. Further, entertainment is well accounted for. There’s a Rockford Fosgate sound system complete with a subwoofer for superior bass.
The Nissan Juke shook up the compact crossover world upon its release, and the 2016 NISMO variant really ups the ante in offering consumers greatness within this class. “Jim McLaren” expounds upon the advantages of this race-inspired car in his video review below, noting its unique styling and performance-based attributes.
This car has an awesome aura about it. The exterior benefits from a smoked-out front grille and set of headlamps, while the rear gets a chrome exhaust finisher. Ten-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels grace the sides and the entirety of the construction is bolstered by a custom aerodynamic body kit. On the interior, there’s a unique red-striped steering wheel and aggressive maroon-shaded backlit gauges. This is complemented by the ambiance of glowing ruby-colored buttons on the center console. It all looks great!
The 2016 Juke NISMO struts its stuff on the road. As you ride about Seattle, the 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder delivers 215 horses and 210-lb.-ft. of torque. A six-speed manual transmission offers enthusiasts a “stick” driving experience that is hands-on and deeply rewarding, too.
The 2018 Murano SL Midnight Edition is something else. “Cars Unlocked” takes an in-depth look at the machine via their video below, and it’s immediately apparent that Nissan has taken great pains to make this one immediately stand out thanks to its blacked-out aesthetic. Additionally, it’s a performance wonder, too.
The exterior changes versus the standard Murano models are significant. These include shadowy 20-inch aluminum rims, dark mirror caps, and black accents on the rear that encompass a removal of the shiny chrome from the trunk handle, rear bumper, and all Nissan badging. Additionally, the front “V-Motion” grille is just as stealthy as you’d expect. The aggregate effect is a crossover that looks positively stylish and “mean,” a welcomed change from what is typically seen on today’s competitors.
There’s plenty under the hood, as well. The 3.5L V6 engine is standard and comes packing 240 horses and 240-lb.-ft. of torque. This is mated to a supremely well-operating Xtronic two-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT)—you won’t feel the gears change! And fuel efficiency is fantastic at 21 city / 28 highway MPG.
If you’re a friend to the environment and in search of a zero-emissions vehicle, you can’t do better than the 2016 Nissan LEAF SV. It’s an automobile that “CarGurus” considers a wonderful option for any electric enthusiast seeking strong performance and sublime comfort.
The 2016 Nissan LEAF SV is sprightly due to the capable 30-kWh lithium-ion battery within. It delivers 107 horses and 187-lb.-ft. of torque. It easily manages to take owners 107 miles on a single charge. And if you’re wondering about “miles per gallon,” the equivalent on this all-electric vehicle is MPGe, which stands at an average of 124 city / 101 highway. Wow!
It’s more than zero-emissions performance, though—it’s also comfort. The LEAF SV comes with heated seats in the front, ensuring you don’t get too chilly during nighttime rides. You can forget the limits of terrestrial radio, as this car is equipped with a SiriusXM AM/FM/HD/Satellite unit. Additionally, the GPS navigation system ensures you always know where you’re headed when you drive about Renton, Bellevue, and Seattle.
Discover one of the finest family vehicles on the road by checking out the three-row Nissan Pathfinder. It’s a spacious automobile that’s also a stellar performer, as “CarTell.tv” reveals in their breakdown of the 2014 SV trim below.
Nissan understands that if you’re in the market for this class of crossover, you need spaciousness. You’re likely traveling with a boatload of family and/or friends at any given point. And whether you’re rolling out on a big planned vacation or just picking up the kids from school, the Pathfinder accommodates via a seven-person capacity and front leg room of 42.2.” These numbers hold up for the back seats, too—41.7” in the second row and 30.7” in the third. Storage is great, as well—a whopping 79.8 cubic feet with all cushions folded down.
The engine on the 2014 Pathfinder SV won’t let you down. It’s a powerful V6 beast that deftly commands the available 260 horses and 240-lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, there’s no “pinch at the pump” despite the size of this crossover—MPG reaches 26 on the highway.
Hey, Seattle! If you’re searching high and low for the perfect new mid-size crossover, we have to recommend the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder S. “Everyman Driver” has the good word on the machine in his video review below. Primary takeaways are that the standard engine is capable and the safety features are robust.
The 2014 Pathfinder S is outfitted with a sprightly 3.5L DOHC V6 motor. It generates 260 horses and 240-lb.-ft. of torque. While this is some great raw power, performance on this SUV is really a one-two punch courtesy of the addition of the Xtronic two-speed continuously variable transmission (CVT). It mimics the smoothness of automatic operation but instead delivers limitless gear ratios. In short, you won’t be feeling any jerkiness as you rev up the engine and accelerate. Fuel economy is great, too—approximately 20 city / 26 highway MPG on average.
The security of your passengers is also provided for. The Pathfinder comes with Easy Fill Tire Alert, which audibly beeps when your wheels have been entirely inflated to the recommended pressure. Traction and stability control are also featured, as well as an array of airbags. There are six available as standard, including side-curtains for each of the three rows.
