Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
The future of high-performance has arrived - with Nissan unveiling its 2019 GT-R. This prototype will deliver exceptional speeds and dynamic styling to Tacoma, proving that compromise is indeed a thing of the past.

According to Wards Auto, the new GT-R has been spotted cruising the cobblestone streets of Europe. Washington critics are desperately trying to cross the pond to catch a sneak-peek, wanting to experience the thrill of pure V8 power; and we wish to join them. This Nissan beast proves too tempting to ignore, with its potent twin-turbo engine yielding 710 HP (at 7,100 RPM) and 575 lb.-ft of torque (at 5,600 RPM). Its sheet metal body has been tailored for speed, utilizing a low-sloping roofline and aerodynamic fenders to counter drag; while the 21-inch wheels tear through the pavement. This promises a 0 to 60 run of just three seconds!

To further delight drivers, the 2019 GT-R yields quicksilver styling to match its stellar power. A black grille anchors the front, flanked by metallic trim; while gold inlays frame the twin-exhaust system. The windows have been stretched, emphasizing the lean profile; and a bigger hood bulge now defines the front, barely containing the rumbling V8 beneath. Though no official dimensions have yet been released, critics anticipate that the body has been lengthened by (at least) two inches to ensure a sleek design.

Nissan GT-R fans, do we have some hair-raising footage for you! NISMO ambassador Marc Gené recently set a new track record at the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA) in Torrejón de Ardoz in Madrid.

Gené is revered as one of the most successful motorsport drivers in Spain, having participated in the 1998 Open by Nissan, Formula 1, and the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours Race in 2009. Nissan tasked him to beat the record at the challenging 1,756-meter INTA circuit, which he did not once, but three times in three different GT-R models – the GT-R R35, GT-R Track Edition, and GT-R NISMO.

With each run, Gené improved his time, starting with the GT-R R35 at a solid 1:06.93, then following up that performance with the GT-R Track Edition at 1:06.39 and the GT-R NISMO at a wicked 1:05.83. Sensational!

See for yourself:

Upon being proposed the challenge, Gené accepted with caution since the test track was one that he had never raced before. But it didn’t take long for the motorsport superstar to realize how well-suited the GT-R was for such a technical track, especially the NISMO. According to Gené, “It is a real racing car that you can drive on a daily basis. It has a spectacular suspension. When you drive it on the circuit, you can truly tell it has the Motorsport in its DNA.”

High speeds no longer demand a compromise of convenience. With the release of the 2018 GT-R Nissan ensures that drivers reap every reward - fusing this sport sedan with the Premium Package. This collection of top-tier amenities elevates the sport experience, ensuring that every 2.3-second 0 to 60 blitz can be thoroughly enjoyed.

As CNET explains, the 2018 GT-R now offers the Premium Package. This enhances the already impressive list of standard features - which includes leather seating, HD Radio, and dual-zone automatic temperature controls - with a driver-friendly suite:

The BOSE Sound System

The Premium Package transforms the six-speaker system into a surround-sound showcase - with 11 BOSE consoles mounted throughout the cabin, as well as two subwoofers. This creates a deep base-line (especially when paired with the speed-sensitive volume controls and active pitch enhancement software).

Noise Cancellation

This package ensures a refined ride, bolstering the cabin with both class-leading seals and advanced white noise amplifiers (which monitor ambient sounds and release counter waves to nullify them). This lessens the echo of passing traffic, engine vibrations, and more.

Exhaust System

A titanium-forged exhaust is provided with the Premium Package. This proves perfect for Seattle’s changeable weather, with its heavy-duty metal offering resistance to snow, sleet, and rain. The chance of (costly) corrosion is greatly lessened.

History always repeats itself - but the time proves far better than most. A 1972 Skyline GT-R has just appeared on the Seattle streets, and it’s leaving both critics and consumers speechless.

According to Road and Track, a Skyline (which was originally designed for the European market) has been spotted in Seattle. This car boasts a 2.0L L20 straight-six engine. Thanks to the original triple Mikuni carburetor design and the inclusion of an aftermarket limited slip-differential, this powerpoint promises 158 HP. A six-speed manual transmission yields impeccable handling, while the dual spoilers slice through drag with precision. Bolt-on fender flares further improve performance, helping to reduce overall friction when cornering.

This allows the Skyline to charge from 0 to 60 in 7.9 seconds - and it ensures a quarter-mile time of only 16.2 seconds. This speedy GT-R will prove equally at home in the city or on the track.

The 1972 Skyline embodied Nissan’s best design elements - and we’re thrilled to see this platform find its way from the showroom to the streets. To learn more about it (or to take a peek at our current GT-R models) contact our team today.

It’s a carbon blur - a rush of cross-members and shock towers, blazing by so quickly that you can barely decipher the high-precision jig construction. It revs from 0 to 60 in less than three seconds, leaving you the span of a breath to catch those fleeting details.

You do… and you’re delighted.

According to Nissan, the 2018 GT-R NISMO was engineered to impress. This track-inspired coupe delivers a bold profile, boasting a unibody construction and carbon-fiber panels. 20-inch forged alloy wheels offer black spoke styling, while the front fenders are perfectly sculpted to disperse air and eliminate drag. Side sills emphasize the lean shape (185-inches long, 54-inches high); and a spoiler frames the rear. LED bulbs anchor the brake lamps and running lights; sheet-metal moldings line the undercarriage; and UV solar-tinted glass showcases the wide windows.

The NISMO also boasts four distinct colors - Pearl White, Solid Red, Jet Black, and Super Silver. Each is accented by orange brake calipers and black door moldings, creating a sleek look from every angle.

The 2018 GT-R is a V6 beast on the track - but it’s runway-inspired design will prove a welcome addition to the Seattle streets. To learn more contact our team today!
True power knows no compromise - delivering both full-throttle speeds and snarling V6 performance. This is the philosophy that drives the 2018 GT-R NISMO, with Nissan seeking to bring circuit experiences to the highway. This platform will dominate the pavement and leave all competitors in the dust.

Are you ready, Seattle?

According to a recent Nissan press release, the 2018 GT-R NISMO promises exceptional performance. Beneath its hood is a 3.8L V6, which generates 600 HP and 481 lb.-ft of torque. Large-diameter turbochargers propel this platform from 0 to 60 in a mere 2.9 seconds; and the redline soars to 6,800 RPM, ensuring a top-speed ratio of 195 MPH.

Anchoring the engine is a titanium-infused exhaust system. This pairs integrated fins and under-mounted ducts to improve intake levels, maintaining optimum air pressure with every mile. This regulates V6 temperatures to eliminate the chance of over-heating (which would compromise the NISMO’s performance capabilities). A dual-clutch six-speed transmission and plasma-sprayed bore plates further improve responses.

With the release of the 2018 GT-R NISMO, Nissan enables drivers to achieve track-worthy thrills. This sport coupe delivers a performance like no other.

Wind proves the great foe of the sport market - with its cold fingers pushing against every coupe, undermining performance and speed alike. It fuses each mile with friction, and it drags cars away from the finish line.

Nissan now seeks to defy the weather - connecting drivers to the class-leading capability they deserve. This is why it’s paired the 2018 GT-R NISMO with a series of aerodynamic fascia upgrades, ensuring that even the most brutal gusts won’t interfere with engine revs. Prepare to fly, Seattle!

As a Nissan press release explains, the 2018 GT-R NISMO delivers superior performance. Its entire chassis has been tailored to withstand all weather conditions. A carbon-fiber rear spoiler disperses the air, increasing overall downforce to propel the car forward. A lower front undercover reduces the impact of every gust, while a reinforced hood maintains a sleek line (it has no deformations and allows the wind to push past). The V-Motion grille has been expertly designed, boasting a slotted shape to eliminate friction; and integrated canards redirect every breeze, using this pressure to enhance intake levels and accelerate speed.

Every line of the GT-R NISMO is intended to bolster performance - both combating and utilizing the elements to increase capability. This ensures a top-speed rating of almost 200 MPH, and it promises a first-place finish with every mile.

It’s an expectation of performance - with GT-R fans assuming that a V6 will yield exceptional power (565 HP, 467 lb.-ft of torque) and dynamic handling (a NISMO sport-tuned suspension). This coupe was meant to fly.

It was also tailored for entertainment.

According to Nissan, the 2018 GT-R Track Edition delivers more than power. Instead it’s been fused with an advanced infotainment suite - allowing Seattle drivers to remain connected to the digital world. An eight-inch color display offers seamless control, pairing voice-activated interfacing with capacitive touch dials. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto technology provide easy smartphone syncing, while wireless Bluetooth links promise access to every social stream. HD Radio and SiriusXM Satellite combine for a premium sound experience; and TravelLink technology yields custom responses, with users able to piece together a collection of relevant real-time news feeds (monitor fuel prices, scan movie listings, and track stock options with the press of a button).

Anchoring the Track Edition’s infotainment console is a BOSE audio system - which pairs eleven speakers with dual integrated subwoofers to ensure rich chords. Active Sound Enhancement technology further improves every note, eliminating distortion and maximizing base-lines. Rock out as you conquer the road.

Nissan believes that drivers deserve more than mere performance - and its 2018 GT-R Track Edition will prove a perfect addition to the Seattle market. To learn more contact us today!

Power has just received an upgrade - with Nissan fusing its 2018 GT-R Track Edition with a sleek new fascia. No longer is this sport-coupe defined solely by speed (don’t fret, though, Seattle. The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 still yields 565 HP). Instead it boasts dynamic lines, delivering runway-worthy style with every rev.

As Nissan explains, the 2018 GT-R Track Edition will steal every spotlight. Resting on 20-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels, this platform prowls the pavement. Lean carbon-fiber materials create a sculpted profile (185-inches long, 75-inches wide, 54-inches long); while air vents highlight the narrow paneling. A V-Motion grille boasts matte-chrome detailing, with LED daytime running lights flanking the sides; and the rigid hood-line yields a sleek effect, eliminating the traditional engine de-formation. Quad titanium tips anchor the rear and lend an aggressive touch.

To further delight Seattle drivers, Nissan has paired the Track Edition with a suite of metallic colors - including Deep Blue Pearl, Blaze Metallic, and Jet Black. Each complements the car’s glossy finishes and will catch every eye.

With the release of the 2018 GT-R Track Edition, Nissan is bringing superior styling to the Washington circuit. To learn more about the latest fascia revisions contact our team today.

A mile marker looms in the distance - a faint dot on the horizon, blurred by sun and exhaust. All day speedsters have been racing toward it, their tires smacking against the pavement. Each has tried (and failed) to secure a world-record run, wanting to shatter the seconds.

Only one contender remains - the 2018 GT-R. It gives a mighty rev and sails forward, trying to reach the finish line before the clock winds down. Does it succeed?

Naturally.

According to The Drive, the 2018 GT-R now serves as the world’s fastest coupe - delivering a 3,000 HP run that leaves all records decimated. This platform (anchored by a turbocharged V6) achieves a quarter-mile blitz of just 6.6 seconds, and it reaches a top-speed ratio of 222 in less than five. No other production car has managed such staggering performance.

How did Nissan accomplish this goal? It fused the GT-R with a powerful engine suite. Beneath the hood sits a sport-tuned 24-valve V6, with its aluminum block bolstered by low-friction plasma-sprayed bores to modulate temperatures. The PSI ratio races to 70, ensuring massive boosts of torque; while secondary air intakes propel the heating catalysts and maintain optimum fuel distribution. This all combines with a 3,000-HP output that remains unmatched.
