Earlier this year, we shared a story about a Polish traveler named Arkady Paweł Fiedler, who took a Nissan Leaf on a first-ever EV expedition across Africa. The trip was documented as part of the Electric Explorer African Challenge 2018 with photography by Albert Wójtowicz, who joined Fiedler on his trip.
According to an Automobile World article, the Nissan Leaf NISMO will go on sale July 31, 2018, in Japan. This latest vehicle will marry the advanced technologies of the world’s best-selling all-electric car with the sporty styling and performance of the NISMO series.
With the rise in popularity of all-electric vehicles, it’s only a matter of time before auto manufacturers extend their product lines to include various body styles and configurations. But, Nissan, they are ahead of the pack since unveiling their latest concept car called the Leaf Open Car.
