Across the border waits a beast - a snarling diesel-toothed monster, with its back lined in chrome and its tires stomping against the ground. This V8 prowls the streets of Mexico, its six-speed manual transmission delivering a throaty growl with every mile. Itâ€™s ferocious; itâ€™s powerful; itâ€™sâ€¦ refusing to come to Seattle.

Recently Nissan revealed the 2018 Frontier NP300. This twin-turbo platform has already revved to the top of the charts in Mexico, decimating the competition with its low-range 4x4 drivetrain. Seattle critics, however, canâ€™t afford to go down south to see it - and theyâ€™re now clamoring for a U.S. release.

According to TFL Truck, Nissan is considering bringing the NP300 to the United States. In 2017 Dodge unleashed its SRT Demon - a terrifying V8 that was soon proclaimed the fastest production car in the world.
