buy a new nissan kicks in seattle washingtonMarking the beginning of a new calendar year, the creation of a few million resolutions, and a shift from the homely rooster zodiac to everyone’s favorite canine, 2018 is defined almost entirely by the change it brings. But here’s one we’re particularly excited about: the introduction of the new, city-friendly Nissan Kicks into the American market this June.

With its 1.6L DOHC engine, capable of 125 hp and 115 lb-ft of torque, this subcompact crossover puts the ‘sport’ in
sport utility vehicle. Coupled with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT system, the Kicks has a heart that’ll beat at 33 mpg— a number guaranteed put a smile on any miser’s face.

At 7 inches of ground clearance, with a total height of 62 inches, this SUV gives drivers a nice, high eyepoint. Surveying the cars beside you as you slip into the perfect parking spot will be like second nature in this well-built vehicle. Not only that, but the Kick’s electric power steering, front-wheel drive, and tiny turning circle of only 17 feet
ensures that navigating through small urban spaces will be a piece of cake.

Nissan today announced an incredible global milestone—the shipment of their 300,000th LEAF since the vehicle first went on sale in 2010. It’s a fantastic achievement for the world’s best-selling all-electric car and sets the table for the amazing advancements the next-generation EV has in store when it releases later this year.

The 2018 Nissan LEAF will surely quickly add to the success of the line when it hits showrooms across Seattle and North America in the months ahead. It’s powered by sensational technology, including an engine that generates 147 HP and 236-lb.-ft. of torque, an increase of 40 horses and nearly 50-lb.-ft. over the 2017 model. And with a new 40-kWh lithium-ion battery, drivers will benefit from a 150-mile range on a single charge.

The new LEAF is a looker, as well. The familiar “V-Motion” chrome front grille is featured, although it’s finished by a striking blue geometric pattern that’s decidedly futuristic. The hood of the car now offers greater curvature for enhanced aerodynamics, too.

Last fall, Nissan announced that their Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant in Mississippi will be the new home of the next-generation Frontier pickup truck. And since then, Frontier fanatics have been anxiously awaiting more details of this highly anticipated mid-size workhorse.

Nissan has yet to release a timeline for the redesigned Frontier, but automotive speculators expect that the newcomer will go into production this year in preparation to launch the 2019 MY truck. It has also been confirmed by a top Nissan executive that the all-new Frontier will feature a V6 engine under the hood. As for what kind of six-cylinder engine, that’s still to be determined. However, industry insiders expect it to be a naturally aspirated V6 with a focus on reliability, making it an ideal contender as a work truck.

The timing for a next-gen Frontier couldn’t be better, as the mid-size pickup has been long overdue for a complete refresh. It certainly could benefit with newer equipment, updated styling, and a more refined interior to contend with modern rivals. Then again, for many Frontier drivers, they prefer the current model just as it is since it offers affordable work truck abilities, a configurable cargo box, and nice driving dynamics.

But, as we have seen with other Nissan refreshes, the best just keeps getting better – and we expect the same with this mid-size pickup.

It’s not a dream or a sci-fi plot, but rather the future of automotive technology. This week, Nissan is set to showcase its Brain-to-Vehicle (or B2V) technology at CES 2018 in Las Vegas, where the automaker will demonstrate new research that will one day allow vehicles to interpret signals from a driver’s brain.

B2V is also the latest development in Nissan Intelligent Mobility, which is the company’s vision for transforming how cars are driven, powered and integrated into society. The research is cutting-edge and wildly innovative by taking a deeper look into brain decoding technology as a way to predict a driver’s actions, like turning the steering wheel or pressing on the accelerator. It can also detect discomfort and change the driving configuration or style when in autonomous mode.

But, B2V doesn’t end there. Nissan also claims that the technology is capable of augmenting reality by adjusting a vehicle’s internal environment so that it’s more peaceful and relaxing. For Seattle area commuters, imagine being able to change your daily view of gridlock and brake lights into something beautiful, like a grassy meadow or white sand beach with turquoise waters. It seems unbelievable or something only possible on the big screen. But, with Nissan pioneering B2V, the future of driving is now.

The time has come, Seattle! Soon Kirkland Nissan will open its doors - ushering in a new generation of all-electric performance. Join us as we unveil the 2018 LEAF.

For days we’ve been readying our lot - gathering door prizes, hanging banners, ensuring that every detail proves perfect. As the only dealership in the United States to feature the new LEAF, we wanted to set the stage for an event like no other; and now it’s time to turn on the spotlight. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. we’ll showcase Nissan’s latest (and greatest) EV platform. Watch as we pull back the curtain and reveal the true potential of lithium-ion power.

The 2018 LEAF promises a new era of performance. Bolstered by an advanced linear drivetrain, this platform offers an electric range of 150 miles. Its EMS7 motor generates a responsive 147 HP and 236 lb.-ft of torque; while the 40-kWh lithium-ion battery offers smart-charging capabilities, requiring a mere 40 minutes to achieve an 80% burst of power. The nimble profile (defined by a 60.6-inch front track and a 61.2-inch rear, respectively) weaves between Seattle traffic with ease, utilizing its aerodynamic panels for a smooth 8-second 0 to 60 rev.

This zero-emission hatch will prove a welcome addition to the Washington highways - and we can’t wait to highlight its many features to our customers.

We’ll see you soon!

buy a new nissan armada near seattle washingtonMaybe you’ve been here before: you’re driving your kids to a football practice but after a few phone calls from busy parents, you’re suddenly the chauffeur for the whole block— or however many you can fit, at least. With ample storage and seating space, the 2018 Nissan Armada is designed to tackle situations like these in a flash. You know, ‘neighborhood nice guy’ has a pretty great ring to it...

But let’s get down to the numbers: the Armada comfortably holds up to 8 adults with its 2nd and
3rd-row seating. And with 50 inches of hip room and 30 inches of headroom in the back, even those roadtrippers that draw the short straw will find themselves with plenty of space to snooze. Tired of climbing over everyone to get to your spot? This vehicle’s 60/40 split on the second bench allows easy entry to the rear.

In the event that you don’t need that extra space, don’t worry about it! Just quickly push a button, and the power folding back bench will do the rest. Need even more room than that? The 2nd row flips down completely as well, giving drivers a whopping 95 cubic feet of storage. And that’s not including the underfloor storage near the back of the vehicle.

Washington rarely proves forgiving to hatchbacks - with its winding roads straining every steering system, undermining stability through rocky inclines and sudden turns. Drivers move shakily through every mile, struggling always to adapt to the constant changes.

Kirkland Nissan is pleased to announce a solution to this problem - with the 2018 LEAF delivering sterling handling on the highways and backroads alike.

Join us tomorrow as we unveil the 2018 LEAF to Seattle. This Nissan EV will redefine everyday travel, offering smooth transitions with each press of the e-pedal. Its 192-cell battery pack has been thoughtfully positioned within the center of the chassis, with its heft used to improve inertia and stabilize the drivetrain. The electric-power column has been precisely calibrated to control every responses; while the integration of logic-working software helps to identify the best position alignments (thereby improving cornering). A stiff torsion bar further enhances performance, reducing the chance of under-steerage.

Nissan adapts to the uncertainty of Washington roads, fusing its LEAF with rubber stops along the rear suspension. This helps to lessen the impact of potholes and other pavement flaws - ensuring a seamless cabin experience. Traveling will soon be far simpler.
