Latest Nissan News For Seattle, Tacoma, And Bellevue Washington
nissan gt-r dealer seattle tacoma kirkland washingtonGreat news, vintage GT-R fans! Nissan’s 2.6-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6, known as the RB26DETT, is back in production and can be bought as individual parts. This engine is famous for powering three generations of the Skyline GT-R and is hailed for its ability to punch high above its weight.

RB26 engines are available for purchase through Nissan’s Nismo Heritage Parts Program, allowing tuners the ability to
build their dream car using customized components. Currently, the list includes the cylinder block and head, crankshaft, gaskets, pistons, connecting rods, exhaust assembly, fuel pump assembly, wiring harness, and more. Nissan is also offering two versions of the engine block – a standard unit for $1,500, which can be fitted to the R32, R33 and R34 GT-R generations, and a $3,800 N1 block for the R33 and R34.

According to
AutoBlog, these parts are only available through local dealers in the Japanese domestic market and other foreign markets. However, since the R32 is eligible for import, they figure that shrewd Skyline enthusiasts will have no trouble bringing these parts into North America.
