JUST WHAT IT SAYS ON THE HOOD

You might be wondering, “How much horsepower is this tractor?” To quickly answer your question, look no further than the hood. T5 model numbers are derived by rounding the engine’s horsepower up or down to the nearest five. Therefore, the model number “T5.115” was established based on the tractor’s 114 horsepower engine. T5.115 F5D maxed at 1900 rpm. Constant power band of 400 rpm. T5070 NEF maxed at 2000 rpm. Constant power band of 300 rpm.

T5: SYNONYMOUS WITH “EASE”
Comfort and at ease is what you'll feel in the cab of a T5. Easily seating two, the cab has two wide doors, 10 air flow vents, an adjustable steering column, and an instrument cluster that displays service information. Choose options like a heated operator seat or deluxe bluetooth radio for added luxury. No, this isn't a pickup truck we are talking about. This is professional
farming and the new T5 tractors mean business.

FOCUS ON FARMING, NOT YOUR WALLET
Your success depends on spending more time working and less time maintaining your tractor, so the T5 is designed to keep you moving in the fields and not down the road for parts. A combination of long 500-hour service intervals, impressive fuel economy, and simple daily checks courtesy of the single-piece hood and ground level service points allows you to focus on what you do: farm.

POWERFULLY PRODUCTIVE
The F5D engine benefits from a Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) system with a
Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) for Tier 4A emission compliance. With CEGR, your engine has a high-pressure common rail fuel injection system that helps enhance combustion. Additionally, these engines generate their max power at lower engine RPMs than the previous-generation
New Holland engines, providing you with a larger constant power band.

OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT: SIT BACK AND RELAX
Tailor a T5 with the level of comfort that you need with numerous seat options including a premium, heated, air-suspension seat. You can also show someone else your new office with a full-size instructor seat.

THE VISIONVIEW™ CAB: OUR VISION. YOUR VIEW.
The VisionView™ cab on all T5 tractors is the product of virtual reality. New Holland’s vision of the view you need to safely and comfortably operate a loader as well as rear implements is what drove the design for the VisionView™ cab. The outcome is clear. Take a look for yourself.

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT
An array of repositionable work lights are standard on T5 tractors to keep you going no matter what time of the day you’re operating. Two halogen headlights lead the way, along with two front and rear roof mounted lights. Use the dedicated switch on the B-pillar for easy light control.

PERFECT PLACEMENT
All the controls that you frequently use are on the CommandArc™ console located to your right for comfortable, day-long operation.

COOL TECHNOLOGY
The all-new, dual-zone air conditioning and heating system provides you with high performance during the hottest summers and the coldest winters. Air flows from 10 repositionable vents for ultimate all-body comfort or super-fast window defrosting. The B-pillar mounted controls fall perfectly to hand and can be intuitively adjusted on the go.

INFORMED INSTRUMENTATION
The T5 dash is always in perfect sight. The easy-to-read gauges move in conjunction with the steering column when you change its position using the convenient foot pedal.

TRACTOR TUNES
A full-size Bluetooth radio is optional to provide you with music to farm to. This factory installed radio is the same one that’s offered on larger T6 and T7 tractors. A convenient storage pocket is located below the radio for MP3 players and cell phones.

  • PROVEN ENGINE AND EMISSIONS SYSTEM
New Holland’s strategy for Tier 4A compliancy is to equip tractors under 120 engine horsepower with CEGR systems. The cooling requirements, fuel use, and costs associated with this system are less significant on this horsepower range in comparison to if it were installed on larger-horsepower tractors. Also, a utility tractor’s dimensions are of vital importance. Using a CEGR engine maintains your tractor’s physical size so you can easily maneuver in tight spaces. You can rest assured knowing New Holland’s engine development partner, FPT, has ample experience with CEGR systems on industrial trucks, developing over 90,000 F5 engines during the past five years. Now that’s a proven solution.

    ENGINE RUGGED AND RELIABLE POWER
T5 tractors are packed with a powerful, 207 cubic-inch, 4-cylinder, F5D engine built by Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT). These engines are Tier 4A emission compliant by utilizing a Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) system and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).

    EASY SERVICING
A flip-up hood makes servicing your T5 a breeze. Simply pop the hood up and you easily access your key service points. Plus, all T5 models benefit from New Holland’s industry-leading 500-hour service intervals.

COMMON RAIL IS COMMON SENSE
Common rail is a necessary component on CEGR engines because the system utilizes precision fueling during its regeneration cycle. Common rail was first introduced to the agricultural industry by New Holland in 2003, which means these engines are the latest to reap its rewards. The benefits in comparison to conventional engines include:

  • Reduced engine noise
  • Better combustion
  • Higher engine power density
  • Lower emissions

EXCEPTIONAL FUEL ECONOMY
The Tier 3 engines found in T5000 Series tractors, the predecessors to the new T5 Series, established the benchmark for best-in-class fuel economy. Your new Tier 4A F5D power unit continues the legacy, thanks to common rail technology that provides you with precision fuel injection. To put it simply, you maintain performance and control your fuel bill at the same time. Furthermore, maximum power is achieved at a mere 1,900 RPMs and is available up to 2,300 RPMs, the typical speeds needed for work applications. A flatter torque curve throughout the optimum range provides you with operational flexibility.

TRANSMISSIONS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS
Whether you’re looking for a basic transmission for loader work or one that’s perfect for haying where you need different gearing more often, you’ll find what you need in a T5.

PERFECT POWER SHUTTLE
Regardless of the transmission you choose, one thing remains the same: the ergonomic, electrohydraulic, power shuttle that allows you to make easy directional changes without lifting your hand off the steering wheel. The shuttle lever always returns to the central rest position—a real convenience since saves you the effort of shuttling back to neutral. Instead, simply press the black button at the end of the lever to put the tractor in neutral.

SMART SHIFTING
A smart control layout enables you to easily shift through gears and ranges. The range lever, located to your right at the bottom of the CommandArc™ console, provides you with a choice of three ranges. Above the range lever you will find your gearshift lever to shift through your synchronized gears while on the move.

24X24 DUAL COMMAND™ WITH POWER SHUTTLE
Looking for a solution to reduce fatigue? The optional Dual Command™ transmission allows for Hi-Lo speeds in each of the four gears using push-button switches on the side of the gearshift lever. The PowerClutch button located on the backof the lever allows you to shift between any of the four gears in any of the three ranges without having to clutch with your foot.

20X20 WITH POWER SHUTTLE AND CREEPER
Going slow has never been so productive. Ideal for specialty applications, a creeper provides 20 forward and 20 reverse gears and allows the tractor to go as slow as .15-mph (.24-kph).

12X12 WITH POWER SHUTTLE
Combined with the electrohydraulic power shuttle, the 12X12 transmission is perfect for basic tasks like raking or operating a front loader.

NEED FASTER SPEEDS?
All transmissions are available with a 25-mph (40-kph) road speed for quick transport from your farmstead to the fields.

DETERMINE YOUR AGGRESSIVENESS
Don’t worry, we’re not discussing psychology here, but rather the capabilities of the ergonomic power shuttle that is standard on all T5 tractors. To fit your application, you can select from three shuttle response levels (low, standard, and high) with a convenient rocker switch located on the CommandArc™ console.

ELECTRO COMMAND™ MODELS SHIFT TO THE NEXT LEVEL
What more could you ask for on your T5 tractor? How about a semi-powershift transmission? At New Holland, we’ve redesigned the acclaimed semi-powershift transmission currently used in T6 Series tractors to offer it to you on T5.105 and T5.115 tractors. This convenient transmission provides you with push-button shifting. However, your shift to the next level of business class farming doesn’t stop there! Take a look at these additional Electro Command™ exclusives.

AUTO PTO ON THE GO
You’ll never think about engaging PTO implements the same way after equipping your T5 with the optional Auto PTO feature. After you engage the system with a switch on the B-pillar and the up/down 3-point lift control switch, the system automatically disengages the PTO on your 3-point-mounted implement when it reaches a predefined distance from the ground. When your implement returns to the pre-set threshold, it automatically reengages.

TERRALOCK™ AUTOMATIC TRACTION MANAGEMENT
New Holland’s renowned Terralock™ solution is simple to set-up and operate. Once engaged, the system automatically controls four-wheel drive and differential lock engagement through continuous dialogue between speed sensors, the brake pedal, and rear linkage. When making tight turns, like on headlands, the system will automatically disengage. With the wheels free to turn and not locked together, the “scrubbing” effect on tires is eliminated.

YOU’RE IN COMMAND
With the Electro Command™ transmission, you say goodbye to your days of shifting through gears, and moving multiple levers. With Electro Command, one shift lever is all you need, and
moving your thumb is all that’s required. On the side of the Electro Command lever are two buttons used to shift up and down through each of the 4 gears in each range. Use the side
buttons in conjunction with the button on the back of the lever to shift between ranges B and C. This provides you with a total of 16 forward and reverse gears, or 32X32 with the optional
creeper. The only time you’ll need to clutch is to move the lever forward or backwards between B and C ranges. To further simplify your experience, you can also use the three buttons located
on the CommandArc™ console to perform the same functions as the gearshift lever. These buttons enhance your operating comfort when you need to change gears in ranges C and D instead of reaching forward to the gearshift lever.

DON’T BRACE YOURSELF. SUSPEND YOURSELF
Do you want the ultimate counter move for harsh bumps out in your fields? Consider Comfort Ride™ cab suspension an option. Similar to the system found on T6, T7, and T8 tractors,
your T5's Comfort Ride option features two isolation donuts at the front corners and two shock absorbers with a sway bar at the rear of the cab. These work in harmony to isolate you from up and down motions and side-to-side swaying.

D Range Change Button Clutch Pedal
Range Change Button A,B,C
*25.3 mph (40.7 kph)   *1.6 mph (2.6 kph)

* Speeds with 18.4R-34 tires. Speeds vary with selected tire size. Range change, upshift and downshift buttons are also conveniently located on the CommandArc™ console.

FRONT AND REAR AXLES: A ROCK-SOLID FRONT AXLE
A heavy-duty 4WD front axle is standard on all T5 tractors. This axle provides you with an in-action capacity of 4,500 pounds (2041 kg) at 4 mph (7 kph), making it perfect for rugged loader and field work. Furthermore, its 60-degree steering angle and 11-degrees of oscillation means you won’t need an entire headland to turn around and get back to business.

TIGHT TURNING
It doesn’t take an acre to turn with your T5. With proven front and rear axles, your T5 will provide you with magnificent maneuverability for years to come.

EASY ENGAGEMENT
It’s easy to engage 4WD with a rocker switch located to your right on the CommandArc™ console. An electrohydraulic differential lock is also optional to make your driving experience even easier.

IT PAYS TO WEIGHT
Want to ensure that you put your power to the ground? Equip your T5 with optional rear weights that weigh 110 pounds (50 kg) each. Choose between a total of four or six to provide you with the ballasting you need to succeed on your farm.

RUGGED REAR FLANGE AXLE
Unlike some competitors with smaller rear axles, New Holland’s robust rear flange axle provides you with years of service. Regardless of whether you choose the standard-duty or heavy-duty flange axle, rest assured that they’re ready for demanding applications, with impressive capacities over 10,000 lbs. (4536 kg). If wheel spacing is important to you, this axle can be adjusted from 64 to 84 inches depending on your selected tire.

PTO, HYDRAULICS, AND THREE-POINT HITCH PRECISION PTO, HYDRAULICS AND THREE-POINT HITCH
A T5 tractor has your productivity covered with intuitive controls and rugged rear components.

PERFECT REMOTES
Remote levers are within easy reach on the ergonomic CommandArc™ console. You can request two or three closed-center rear remotes be installed at the factory. Smart color coding on both levers and remotes simplify your implement hookup by eliminating guesswork.

HEFTY HYDRAULICS
An open-center system with tandem gear pumps provides a combined total flow of 26.1 gpm (99 l/min) standard. An optional system, standard on T5 Electro Command tractors, provides you with an impressive 32.5 gpm (123 l/min) of flow.

HIGH-CAPACITY REAR THREE-POINT HITCH
Category II flexible lower link ends and telescopic stabilizers are all part of your T5’s impressive three-point hitch. T5 tractors come standard with 6,393 lbs. (2900 kg) of rear lift capacity at 24 inches behind the ball ends, but can be equipped with two rear rams that boost lifting ability to 10,452 lbs. (4741 kg). T5 Electro Command™ tractors offer more three-point hitch options to tackle even more demands. A lift capacity of 7,035 pounds (3191 kg) is standard. Need more? Choose between one lift cylinder with 8,809 lbs. (3996) of lift capacity, or two with 10,452 lbs. (4741 kg).

FRONT PTO AND THREE-POINT HITCH
A front PTO and three-point hitch are available for front-mounted implements. Talk about versatility!

SIMPLE PTO CONTROLS
All T5 tractors feature a hydraulic PTO that is easy to activate. Simply pull the yellow PTO knob on the CommandArc™ console. When you’re done running your implement, simply push the knob down to shut it off. To eliminate sudden PTO shock loads to your implement and tractor, flip on the soft start switch, also conveniently found on the CommandArc™ console.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE MOUSE: ELECTRONIC DRAFT CONTROL
Who knew a mouse could mean so much to a farmer in the field? The ergonomic Electronic Draft Control (EDC) mouse nestles perfectly under your right hand on the CommandArc™ console. This acclaimed New Holland design allows for one-handed operation. It controls linkage height and depth for uniform fields. The fast linkage raise and lower button makes returning an implement to work after a headland turn even easier and faster to simultaneously improve your productivity.

EXTERNAL HITCH CONTROLS
Rear fender switches banish the need to jump in and out of the cab to control your PTO and rear linkage.

SERVICING AND SPECIFICATIONS SMART SERVICING
New Holland tractors are designed to spend more time working around your farm and less time in the shop. Super-long service intervals help assure you of this, but, when it is time for routine maintenance, all service points are easy to access.
