According to Motor Authority, the Big Blue Oval is (once again) partnering with drift champion, Vaughn Gittin Jr., for a track-worthy experience. The 2019 F-150 RTR has been announced. This platform - which is part of Ford’s performance line-up - promises class-shattering strength, with a 5.0L V8 growling beneath its hood. Power ratios are expected to surpass 600 HP, and the inclusion of a custom-tuned supercharger will ensure peerless revs. A 10-speed automatic transmission should anchor the drivetrain, allowing for effortless shifting; and an AWD will bring all-terrain capability to every mile, pairing a coilover suspension with 33-inch Nitto Ridge tires.

Protecting the chassis will be a set of fender flares (which will curve perfectly over the all-season tires); and skid plates are also anticipated, helping to reduce damage to the undercarriage. Traveling over unwieldy roads will prove easy in this V8 beast.

No official release date has been given for the 2019 F-150 RTR - but Ford has confirmed that it will enter production during the first quarter of next year. That leaves mere months to prepare for its full-throttle arrival.

We have our fingers crossed, however, that the Ford team will manage to deliver a true-world experience… because we want to see the 2019 F-150 Freak-O-Boost in Alberta.

TFL Truck has just revealed the latest Ford concept pick-up - the Freak-O-Boost. Despite its peculiar name, this truck is already earning admiration from critics and F-Series fans alike, promising class-shattering performance… if it manages to make it to the highway. Beneath its hood sits a 3.5L V6. A twin-turbocharger delivers full-throttle sequencing, while Head Games cylinder heads move in seamless tandem.
