Ford Vehicle News For Saskatchewan Canada
new ford f150 for sale saskatchewan canadaWith each year comes innovations. Automotive engineers fuse their platforms with the latest in performance technology - ensuring that every coupe, convertible, and pick-up connects consumers to the upgrades they deserve. A recent J.D. Power assessment, however, proves that a new-school mentality isn’t always a substitute for old-school reliability.

During an exhaustive comparison of the top pick-up brands - in which all mid-size and full-size trucks were ranked for their dependability - J.D. Power discovered that the 2014 F-150 and the 2014 F-Series Super Duty were among the nation’s best. This came as a surprise to every pick-up fan. After all, how could these older models match today’s market standards?

The answer is found in their design. J.D. Power notes that both the F-150 and the Super Duty are powerfully made - boasting options like turbocharged engines, extended cabins, and best-in-class capabilities (up to 24,700 pounds for fifth-wheel towing and up to 18,500 pounds for conventional towing). These platforms were engineered to work hard, effortlessly enduring North America’s challenging terrains. They represent both a critical and commercial high-point for Ford.

Want to see why? Come to our lot today and test-drive our available F-150 and F-Series models. Discover the value of peerless power and meticulous construction.

new ford super duty for sale alberta canadaBigger truly is better. This is the mantra shouted by Ford - with its 2017 Super Duty now fused with wide fenders and an extended wheelbase. This is no longer a mere pick-up. It’s instead the next-generation of performance.

The Detroit News recently revealed that Ford has redefined its signature truck. The Super Duty - including its F-250, F-350, and F-450 variants - is now ready for every payload, with a staggering six inches added to its aluminum frame. This creates a bed-length of 176-inches, effortlessly accommodating all hauling needs; and, to further emphasize the ultra-sized theme, this pick-up also offers 78.5 cu.-ft of total cargo volume. No task proves too great.... and no passenger proves too tall.

The 2017 Super Duty boasts more than an enhanced exterior. Its cabin has also been expanded. Prepare for optimal comfort with improved legroom (43.9-inches), head room (40.8-inches), and interior volume (131.8 cu.-ft). Every mile promises convenience.

No longer struggle with tiny cargo boxes and short wheelbases. Allow Ford to instead provide a stronger alternative - with the new Super Duty embracing an XXL philosophy.

2018 ford f150 for sale saskatchewan canadaWith the announcement of the 2018 F-150 came a series of exclamations - all bemused, amused, and more than a little surprised. The beloved F-Series platform would boast a PowerStroke engine, delivering diesel efficiency and enhanced MPG ratios. Pick-up fans were (understandably) delighted.

For those craving a more traditional powertrain, however, this shift to diesel proved unwelcome. They wanted the familiar rumble of a V8 and they worried that the new F-150 would no longer yield the necessary growl.

Fear not, F-Series devotees! Ford is still offering a variety of non-alternative options to consider - with Total Landscape Care recently revealing three available engines:

The V6: A 3.3L V6 engine will anchor the F-150, serving as the entry-level option and generating an estimated 282 HP and 253 lb.-ft of torque. This will accommodate all light-duty tasks with ease.

The V8: those in need of all-terrain performance will find value in the 5.0L Coyote V8. While no official specs have been released, this powertrain should prove comparable to the 2017 model and offer (at least) 385 HP.

The EcoBoost: to ensure everyday economy, Ford is also providing a 2.7L EcoBoost engine. This will bolster MPG ratings through advanced direct-injection technology.

While the 2018 F-150 may now feature PowerStroke capabilities, no driver will suffer a compromise of traditional F-Series performance. Find the perfect engine for every need!

The new year has just begun - but already critics are tallying torque distribution and economy ratings, comparing horsepower potential and all-terrain performance. They’re carefully filtering through every detail to find the year’s best trucks.

It comes as no surprise to the Novlan team that Ford has already earned a top position. The 2017 F-250 shapes both the market and the highway.

Auto Guide just released a list of the year's most powerful trucks - and the 2017 F-250 Super Duty was among the winners! This platform dominates every road, with its 6.7L diesel V8 engine yielding 440 HP and 925 lb.-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission ensures fluid responses, while an extended crew cab configuration (6-feet, 9-inches) accommodates even the heaviest payloads. Every line has been engineered for off-road hauling.

Every line has also been engineered for best-in-class results. The 2017 F-250 redefines its segment through staggering outputs:

Conventional Towing: up to 21,000 pounds.
5th Wheel Towing: up to 27,500 pounds.
Gooseneck Towing: up to 32,500 pounds.

This is the pick-up for those craving exceptional performance on the highways and the back-roads alike - with Ford pushing the limits of crew cab capabilities. The F-250 is an undeniable force.

It’s also currently available in North America. To learn more about this Super Duty model visit our lot today!

The power of the 2017 F-150 Raptor can no longer be contained. It’s pushing past its North American cage and revving toward the world beyond.

Prepare for a new generation of all-terrain performance.

According to Motor Trend, the 2017 Raptor will soon be unveiled across the globe - with China proving its first destination. Ford is seeking to redefine its brand overseas, offering platforms that are (traditionally) intended only for the U.S. and Canada. Introducing audiences to its signature F-150 off-roader, therefore, is a perfect start to this new campaign.

The 2017 Raptor will soon dominate the Chinese market. This 3.5L powerhouse - which delivers 450 HP and 510 lb.-ft of torque - will be a unique addition to the county, offering Super Crew capabilities and premium performance. It will remain almost entirely unaltered (with the only changes made to its roofline and light placements) and will provide a strong counterpoint to the typical sedans and crossovers.

Ford is anticipating high sales abroad - and so is the Novlan team. Though the Raptor may embrace a North American sensibility, we know that its international appeal will be undeniable.

With the new year comes a new award. Ford - in its quest to fill the shelves of its F-Series' trophy case - has pushed the boundaries of design, fusing its F-250 Super Duty with a series of enhancements; and these enhancements have recently earned recognition from the National Highway Traffic and Safety Association (NHTSA).

According to MSN, the 2017 F-250 has earned a staggering five-stars from the NHTSA! This rating (the highest available) showcases Ford’s dedication to improving the driver experience, with the pick-up lauded for its roll-over protection, side impact responses, and front-crash resistance. It marks a milestone for the brand, with last year’s F-Series managing to secure only four-stars.

What caused this sudden advancement? The NHTSA notes that Ford’s recent upgrades - which include the Safety Canopy, an advanced airbag deployment system; available rear inflatable seat belts; a SOS Post Crash Alert System; and military-grade aluminum framing - have allowed the truck to dart past the competition. The entire platform has been engineered for prevention and protection. This has delivered yet another victory for 2017.

We’re not surprised. The F-250 Super Duty proves an ideal option for work or play, fusing industry-leading safety with V8 performance.

Less often proves more in the world of hybrid technology. Tiny hatchbacks and tightly-tailored sedans define the market - with automotive engineers seeking to maximize performance through lightweight, efficient profiles. With large engines, after all, comes the need for equally large quantities of fuel.

The impending arrival of a hybrid Ford F-150, however, should redefine this philosophy. Bigger is finally better.

According to MSN, the hybrid F-150 (which was first announced at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, along with a fleet of other plug-in and EV platforms) has been spotted. Clever-eyed photographs captured it from every wide-bodied angle, hoping to reveal its secrets. This was no easy task, thanks to Ford’s ample camouflaging; but a few insights were gleaned on the Michigan proving grounds:

The Possibility of a J1772 Connector - extensive cladding along the front fender suggests the presence of a Connector. This will allow for quick plug-in capabilities (potentially even utilizing Ford’s signature DC Smart Charging program).

The Use of a Four-Cylinder Engine - the soft exhaust decibel suggests a more refined engine. A four-cylinder EcoBoost is expected, similar to the one shared with the Explorer (which yields 310 HP and 320 lb.-ft of torque).

The Potential for a Turbocharger - through a four-cylinder engine is anticipated, MSN critics wonder whether the hybrid F-150 will still offer turbocharged power, similar to the base model of the Mustang. The chances are considered high.

These notions certainly have the Novlan team excited - and we can’t wait for the hybrid F-150 to arrive.

The automotive trends forever wax and wane - fickle in their patterns and relentless in their contrariness. Everything changes; everything shifts; and a new sales king is revealed with each quarter. This is the rule of the road.

Ford proves the exception to that rule.

According to Mustang 360, the F-Series has once again reached the top of the charts - continuing its 40-year streak. Since 1977 it’s delivered the strongest sales in North America, with its signature F-150, F-250, and Super Duty pushing past the competition. No other automotive maker can claim such an impressive victory.

No other automotive maker can also claim such a powerful pick-up fleet. The F-Series has always surpassed its rivals, delivering a suite of best-in-class innovations. Throughout the years it’s introduced the market to turbocharged V8 responses, exclusive Trail Pro Backup assistance, and Intelligent All-Wheel power. Each generation has connected consumers to the options they need to fulfill every heavy-duty task.

This is why the F-Series remains the undisputed champion of North America - shattering records with every decade.

The road proves long - a stretch of dust and unfamiliar turns. You follow it cautiously, uncertain of what the miles will bring. The daylight is fading; the horizon is turning bleak; and you’ve hours left before you’ll sleep. Hesitation now defines you.

With the release of its 2018 F-150, Ford seeks to eliminate that hesitation. The beloved F-Series variant will now offer a suite of advanced safety features, allowing drivers to quickly adapt to even the rockiest terrains.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the 2018 F-150 will be an ideal companion for those late-night adventures. Pre-collision assistance technology (along with pedestrian detection capabilities) will allow for continuous scanning, assessing the road for any potential impediments. Available 360-degree cameras will provide high-definition imagery of the surrounding area, ensuring seamless parking and trailering; while integrated blind spot monitoring will offer real-time alerts.

This - when paired with lane-keeping assistance, trailer radar sensors, and SYNC 3 notifications - will provide drivers with the security they need. The 2018 F-150 will instantly identify concerns and offer precise responses, keeping all passengers safe on the highway or the back-roads. No path will prove a challenge.

The 2018 F-150 will arrive in the fall. To learn more about this and other F-Series vehicles contact the Novlan team today.

Rumors define the automotive market - little wisps of conversation, half-formed speculations. Drivers leap from one conclusion to another, leaving wide trails of shaky truths in their wake; and it often proves impossible to decipher fact from feverish fiction.

Ford recently offered a guarantee for the future, however - confirming the arrival of a diesel F-150.

According to Fox News, Ford plans to release a diesel F-150. This will mark a momentous milestone for the brand, with the F-Series never before featuring a gasoline alternative. Public demand for more efficient pick-up responses, however, has created a need for non-traditional power; and this 3.0L engine will maximize every mile, pairing direct-injection technology with automatic start-stop capabilities.

Through this, the 2018 F-150 will ensure superior economy. Ford assures drivers, though, that this diesel transition won’t demand a sacrifice of performance. A best-in-class tow rating of 12,200 pounds has been announced - ensuring that every heavy-duty demand can be easily accommodated.

No official release date has been offered for the 2018 F-150. Critics anticipate a late fall arrival, however, and production should begin soon.

For more than three decades, the F-Series has dominated North America’s sales charts. With the arrival of the new F-150, we expect this tradition to continue.
