Ford is ready to reenter Vancouver’s mid-sized pickup market with an all-new Ranger in 2019. After a seven-year hiatus, the much-loved model is returning to North America but, the question is, why now? To put it simply, this truck is ready to dominate the whole class.
No one wants to play for second best, which is why the Ranger will be coming straight in on top when it enters the market next year. According to Topspeed, the pickup will have a maximum towing capacity of 7,500 pounds, about 500 pounds more than any of its competitors. It can be loaded up too, with a maximum payload capacity of 1,860 pounds – significantly higher than the 1,500-pound industry standard.
Ford is raising the bar for what a mid-sized pickup is capable of, and this wouldn’t be possible without a stellar drivetrain. A 2.3-litre, turbocharged, EcoBoost four-cylinder engine sits under the hood, pumping out a colossal 310 pound-feet of torque. All this power runs through a 10-speed automatic gearbox which means you’ll never be left wanting, no matter the situation.
In terms of class, the Ranger is mid-sized, but there’s nothing mid-sized about its performance. To learn more, including additional specs and pricing, contact our team today.

When the first aluminum-alloy F-150s were announced, folks thought the company had gone crazy. Boy, were they wrong! Three years later (after record sales and MotorTrend CA’s 2018 Truck of the Year award) they’ve done it again. Ford Motor’s first half-ton diesel is taking Canada by storm. The V6 PowerStroke has fourteen color options, but we think Oxford White is a real head turner. Interested in Keywest Ford’s employee pricing? For a limited time, the F-150 starts at just $31,152.
But what about the durability of an ultralight aluminum body truck? No worries. With a fully boxed underframe made up of 78% high-strength steel, you've got one tough work truck. No innovation is spared either. Vehicles are equipped with smart technology like an 8-inch touchscreen, SYNC Connect tracking, a remote-release tailgate and a 360-degree camera with a split-screen display.
The only problem is, once you're inside the cabin, you'll forget it’s a work truck! Even the base models have a slick modern feel. The King Ranch features seats with AC, climate control zones, and a sweet premium B & O Play audio system. But it doesn’t stop there. Plenty more options are available on the V6 Diesel and we’re ready to help you build yours. Check out the best selection of new and preowned F-150s in Vancouver at Keywest Ford.

This truck boasts incredible versatility, including 6 available driving modes. From sludging through mud to crawling up rock faces, the sport-tuned suspension offers an agile ride across any terrain. Whether hauling a hockey team to practice or a load of camping gear to the mountains, SUV owners have incredibly different demands, especially here in Vancouver. Can one model actually cover all the needs of city and wilderness driving?
The test drivers at Auto123.com recently set out to discover what made Explorer the #2 bestselling mid-sized SUV in Canada. They found the answer under the hood in the form of three very unique engine packages. The Explorer Sport’s base 3.5L V6 model offers an ideal 290 HP, while the 2.3L 4 cylinder EcoBoost engine, with its 280 HP, was easy on the gas mileage. However, the third engine option, a 3.5L Twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 with a whopping 365 HP, impressed reviewers eager for outdoor exploration.
In addition, each of the three Explorer packages include an incredible “Tow†button on the dash, which converts the transmission to automatic for ideal towing torque when hauling a load.
Whether packing up up a family, a tent, or both, there is an Explorer Sport ready for the challenge. Visit our dealership for a test drive and see what made this SUV such a hot seller in Canada.

With the unveiling of the 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350, Ford is bringing a major aerodynamic performance upgrade to a timeless classic. Slated for an early 2019 release, the high-powered sportscar will bring a new thrill to Vancouver streets.
Per AutoBlog, the 2019 GT350 will look incredibly familiar to longtime fans of the vehicle. What aesthetic changes are coming are in the name of performance, with a double slit spoiler replacing the long standing wing. This allows drivers the ability to add optional Gurney flaps to aid downforce on the vehicle without sacrificing too much performance to drag. The other major appearance change comes up front where Ford opted to bring over the grille from the GT350R to help cut down on front end drag.
But Ford didn’t stop there. The company commissioned Michelin to develop the brand new Pilot Sport Cup 2 Tires specifically for the 2019 GT350. The tires feature a brand new tread pattern and rubber compound unique to the vehicle to aid handling and reduce vehicle wear.
The Mustang’s interior features minor adjustments to the dashboard, including a new aluminum dash trim which can be substituted for carbon fiber, the now standard 8-inch SYNC® touch screen, and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature controls.

Finally, B.C. drivers can wield the raw force they crave from a vehicle by sliding behind the steering wheel of this mighty new machine.
U.S. News & World Report describes the Ford F-150 Raptor as the “supercar of pickup trucks.†It can fly over sand and dirt just as fast as it can speed down a highway, thrilling drivers with its 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. torque. The Raptor perfectly embodies the adventurous B.C. spirit, and its ability to shift seamlessly from 2WD to 4WD ensures that Vancouver drivers can maneuver it deftly on icy roads as well as sandy trails.
Don’t let its muscle fool you, though – the Raptor is a luxurious ride. Its Bluetooth audio lets you control your phone calls and entertainment without taking your eyes off the road, and the unique cloth and structure of the seats will keep you comfortable during those extra-long hauls.
