format_quoteWasn't really looking for a new vehicle until I saw this truck online. Contacted the sales person listed and made a time work to go and look at it. Gavin Lemon was excellent to deal with and very professional. He helped through every step of the way with very little pressure. We were able to come to an agreement on my trade in and make the numbers work for my new Jeep Gladiator. Cant say enough good things about Gavin and his manager Havyn. Thank you for making this deal happen and thank you for the great experience.
format_quoteThis review is a shout out to Hayden (sales) and Shawn (the owner) of this dealership.
I bought a vehicle March 3rd. Had a significant amount of problems with the team that sold me my van.
but these 2 went above and beyond to effectively solve every single one of them.
Hayden goes above and beyond even when he stands to gain nothing. (no commission as he was not my sales rep) That is a rare and valuable trait for a sales person to have. I would come back only due to their support and quick efforts to get the situation sorted.
Following that with a shout out to again hayden (sales) and andrew (finance) for being so incredible and taking such good care of my friend when she came in to look at a vehicle just a short time after me! I'm glad you guys were able to give her the flawless experience that should come with buying a vehicle.
format_quoteAwesome experience buying 2017 Ford Taurus Limited from Renfrew.
Gagan in particular was very helpful and transparent sales person from the beginning. He took his time to understand my budget and needs and showed cars accordingly. He was always ready to answer my questions.
format_quoteI recently bought a Jeep Wrangler from Renfrew Chrysler in Calgary and I had the pleasure of working with Gavin. He was incredibly responsive to my inquiries, kept me in the loop throughout the process, and discussed alternative trims with me. He also efficiently bridged the distance (I purchased from another Canadian city) by sending me a personalized video of the vehicle along with an accurate description. That was impressive! I'm thrilled with my new ride and can't wait to create memories with it. I’m now patiently waiting for our next snow fall ✌🏼Thank you, Gavin!

format_quoteMy son, 17 year old rodeo cowboy was shopping for his first truck for weeks. A family rodeo friend highly recommended Renfrew Chrysler, he had just bought his new truck there. My son immediately called spoke with Frank. He looked at the website found a few great options and we headed right in to have a look. They knew he could put 1500km a weekend travelling to rodeos, and was heading south to school in the fall on a rodeo scholarship. Having a very very reliable truck was very important travelling long distances late at night with rodeo, and school far away. He had a successful run of rodeos, worked hard and had his own money to spend. He found the white ford of his dreams! He was proud and thrilled to get it on the road. Talks of possible future sponsorship promoting Renfrew on his travels.
Mark and Frank were quick to get things in order we left that night with the truck, he was off to rodeos the next morning. He was told to come back for an oil change, full tank of gas, and body damage repair on the back after the weekend. First promise that never happened.
The truck was said to be in “mint condition”. Lie… It’s been 8 months. The truck made it to less than a month of rodeos last summer, made one trip to school in Montana where he had nothing but problem after problem. He’s driving grammas suv, catching rides and his truck is in Canada. The list of repair costs and problems with the truck is long and disappointing. Making monthly payments on a truck he’s not driving.
I did try many many times, and had many texts, phone calls and even drove it in to Renfrew myself in November trying to get it fixed so he could take it back to school in Montana after his bull riding finals in Canada. A rodeo buddy had to pick him up and drive him to his finals.
I begged to try and get help, or him out of this truck and into a new reliable truck. Nobody helped this kid out. He won his finals and like a champ I sent him back to Montana with 5 other bull riders heading to Texas in an old wore out suv. How embarrassing to have this new truck that is the running joke how you got ripped off, and you are riding with your buddies in the junky looking but reliable old cars and minivans. I sure do miss the 2000 Savannah rodeo van he had for two years.
Cowboys don’t cry! but this stress brought tears of disappointment and frustration.
We should have shopped local where our families and other rodeo cowboys buy their vehicles. Tough lessons learned.
I did get a call in December from another salesman wondering if my son was wanting to trade up 😂 wrong person to call.
I said you don’t want this truck back. And after $7000+ in repairs we are stuck with it. But thanks for your call.
The mileage put on since mid June probably 10,000km. In rodeo that would be in a month or two.
Mark and Frank are no longer there. The friend who sent him there also ended up having issues but did get them resolved.
Last pic is my son on Montana State University truck in Montana. Do better Renfrew please! Holden deserved better… all customers matter.
