Aside from keyless entry, the new 2021 Dodge Charger GT also comes with remote start technology that enables you to warm up or cool the car before going outside. This is especially useful during the harsh Alberta winters and hot summer months.
As the second-level trim, the GT also features the upgraded Uconnect 4C multimedia centre. Not only does this infotainment system come with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, but it also includes hands-free Bluetooth and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Displayed on an 8.4-inch touchscreen, you can operate various functions with ease, like making phone calls or queuing up music on the six-speaker audio system.
Meanwhile, the auto-dimming rearview mirror will assist you at night. Whenever another vehicle is behind you, this component will dull the glare from their headlights so that you don’t have to squint. And speaking of glare, the Dodge Charger GT also boasts front and rear solar-control glass to reduce the amount of heat gain being transmitted into the cabin of the vehicle.

Housing a robust 3.6-litre V6 engine underneath the hood, the new 2021 Dodge Charger GT provides a balance of power and efficiency for daily driving in Calgary, Alberta.
Thanks to variable valve timing and the smooth-shifting TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, this motor produces 300 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. When you think about the Dodge Charger, fuel efficiency probably isn’t the first thing to come to mind. However, the new 2021 R/T trim boasts the highest gasoline rating in the V8 lineup.
Housing a 5.7-litre HEMI engine, this particular model pushes out 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to the multi-displacement system and variable valve timing technology, it gets about 14.7 L/100 km (19 mpg) in the city and 9.4 L/100 km (30 mpg) on the highway. You won’t find another V8-powered muscle car with numbers like these.
Mated with RWD for optimized control in sharp corners, the R/T can hit a top speed of 249 km/h (155 mph). While that is slower than the Scat Pack 392 and the SRT Hellcat, you get an even exchange by saving money at the pump.
The R/T trim also boasts an active exhaust system, which employs a pair of electronic valves situated toward the rear of the vehicle to control the output of the exhaust noise. These valves keep sound levels at a minimum when the engine is idling, but as soon as the pedal is put to the metal, the valves open up to release the Charger's fierce roar. Â

If you want a performance car that generates a high output without draining the fuel tank, then you should consider one of the 2021 Dodge Charger Scat Pack 392 models. Available in regular and wide-body designs, both trims come with the same powertrain.
Growling under the hood is a 6.4-litre SRT HEMI V8 that uses a multi-displacement system for efficiency. On average, you can expect to get around 15.8 L/100 km (18 mpg) in the city and 9.6 L/100 km (29 mpg) on the highway. That’s almost unheard of for such a muscular motor.
Fitted with RWD and the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, it produces a jaw-dropping 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. With the ability to hit up to 281 km/h (175 mph), it even completed the acceleration course in a Herculean time of 4.3 seconds.
The 2021 Charger Scat Pack 392 also boasts a high-performance suspension system, which includes Bilstein shock absorbers for improved balance, cornering ability, and steering responsiveness. You'll love leaning into curves and turns in this athletic muscle car.
