Calgary: Driver Assistance Group Available on Select 2021 Jeep Compass Trims

While many of the 2021 Jeep Compass trims are already well-equipped with standard safety features, some models can be fitted with the Driver Assistance Group to further enhance your security on the roads.
 

Eligible versions of the Compass for this package include the following: North, 80th Anniversary, Altitude.
 

The first add-on is Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. Using sensors and a front-mounted camera, it can detect obstacles that are directly in your path. After the notification to take evasive action is ignored, it can trigger the braking system to stop the vehicle before a crash occurs.
 

Next is Lane-Departure Warning with Lane-Keep Assist. Often referred to as LaneSense, this component not only lets you know when you begin to drift off to the side, but it will also make small steering adjustments to guide you back to the centre.
 

Finally, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go will allow you to set speed and following distance limits. It will then match the flow of traffic to prevent rear-ending accidents.
