The back area of the new 2022 Ford Maverick measures 4.5-feet in length. Providing roughly 33.3 cubic feet (943 litres) of space, you can fill it with up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg) of payload; and don't be fooled by its (deceptively) compact appearance. The FlexBed tailgate stretches the load floor by 1.5-feet. That’s a total of 6-feet available for storage, which is plenty for the vast majority of daily driving needs.
