INRIX, Inc, a leading global provider of transportation analytics and connected car services, has announced in conjunction with Ford that they’re making their parking and fuel services available to new vehicles from the Big Blue Oval brand. Drivers will be able to access the available features within SYNC 4-equipped cars, trucks, and crossovers.
Coming first to the all-new 2021 Bronco two- and four-door models as well as the new F-150 and Mustang Mach-E, SYNC 4’s real-time connectivity will feed drivers up-to-date charging, fuel, parking, traffic, and road-incident information. Ford is working to ensure you’re more informed than ever the next time you take to the streets of Kelowna and beyond.

Thanks to SYNC 4’s connected vehicle system and Telenav’s technology, all-new F-150 and Bronco two- and four-door variants will receive an available hybrid navigation solution that stores maps for uninterrupted routing even when you leave areas with cell coverage, differing from conventional smartphone mapping apps. As a result, off-road trail maps can be followed continuously, custom routes ensure towing confidence, and location results are retrieved more quickly. Further, new trail and towing maps across North America will be added over time.

The Big Blue Oval brand’s Co-Pilot360™ technology was already a game-changer on the roads of Penticton and the rest of BC, but good just got better. The wide-sweeping collection of driver-assist features just became even broader, with advancements that will improve your quality of life on highways and byways.
Available Active Drive Assist now comes with an advanced driver-facing camera, enabling the tracking of head position and driver eye gaze while wearing sunglasses. The feature evolves Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering, providing a new hands-free mode that can be updated in the future. This mode enables drivers to remove their hands from the wheel altogether on certain pre-mapped highways, provided they continue to gaze at the road ahead.

Also of note is the addition of the Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ Active 2.0 Prep Package, which will first become available on the Mustang Mach-E. This includes radar and camera hardware that enables the flexibility to purchase Active Drive Assist as an over-the-air software update at a later date, should the owner choose.
