We offer Minor and Major Gelcoat repairs
We use in house tinted gel coat to the closet color match possible. Usually boat’s gel coat fades, over time from port to starboard if one has been using the same moorage for a number of years. We usually like to assess this at time of annual haul out, left longer the chips can get larger, or there may be water ingression issues.

Major Fibre Glass Repairs
Usually, these type of repairs start from solid laminates to cored balsa or foam lamination. The type/s of techniques will vary, widely, depending on the size of damaged areas and the location. Causes from damage can range from moisture ingression in deck cores, stress cracks, or fractures, body damage from collisions or groundings.

We use only the latest state of the art polyester products. 

For the most part, bulkheads on fibreglass boats are attached to the hull with fibreglass strips, which are called tabs and full laminate layups.

In some cases enough force from a collision, or grounding will cause these to shear and let go. Generally, these are noted by an insurance survey and the repairs will then be recommended.
