The 2026 Explorer is Ford's six- or seven-seat SUV. In Canada every Explorer has four-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost four makes 300 hp and 310 lb-ft; the 3.0-litre twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 makes 400 hp and 415 lb-ft, available on the Tremor and standard on the ST. The Tremor is the off-road model, the ST the performance model and the Platinum the most luxurious. Prices and figures come from Zack and Andrea Spencer's MotorMouth review notes from April 2026 and include freight, PDI and fees. Measurements in inches and cubic feet are converted to metric.
