What Canadian shoppers ask

The questions Navigator shoppers bring to the showroom.

Drawn from 541 comments mentioning the Navigator on MotorMouth's videos posted since 2023 on the MotorMouth YouTube channel. Question themes sit apart from verified vehicle facts and help prepare a more useful test drive.

01

What does it cost?

Price and value come up in 79 comments. MotorMouth's 2025 notes list the Navigator Reserve at $128,695, the Reserve with the Jet Appearance package at $132,695 and the Black Label at $151,695, with the longer L $4,000 more in each case, all including freight, PDI and fees.

These are 2025 figures; ask for the current all-in price in writing.

02

Navigator or Navigator L?

The L is almost 30 cm (a foot) longer, which adds cargo space behind the third row. Legroom is the same in both, according to MotorMouth's notes.

Take this to your test drive

Load your usual cargo with the third row up in both before choosing.

03

How does it drive?

The 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 makes 440 hp and 510 lb-ft. An adaptive suspension with continuously controlled damping and BlueCruise hands-free driving are standard. Premium fuel is recommended, but regular can be used.

Take this to your test drive

Try BlueCruise on the highway during your test drive if the retailer allows it.

04

How much fuel does it use?

Fuel economy comes up in 25 comments. MotorMouth's notes give 15.6 L/100 km (15 mpg US) city and 10.8 L/100 km (22 mpg US) highway.

Take this to your test drive

Budget fuel at your own yearly distance before comparing prices.

05

How usable is the third row?

The Navigator seats up to eight. Legroom is 1,105 mm (43.5 in) in front, 1,067 mm (42 in) in the second row and 917 mm (36.1 in) in the third, which MotorMouth's notes call very spacious.

Take this to your test drive

Sit in the third row yourself.

06

What technology comes with it?

Technology comes up in 77 comments. A 48-inch panoramic display, an 11.1-inch touchscreen, a second-row screen, 28-speaker Revel audio and a 360-degree camera are standard. MotorMouth's notes say the tech-forward cabin takes time to learn, and setting up a driver profile helps.

Take this to your test drive

Spend time with the screens before you buy, not just on the drive.

07

Can it tow, and what is the warranty?

Towing comes up in 17 comments. The Navigator can tow up to 8,700 lb (3,946 kg), with Pro Trailer Backup Assist standard and a heavy-duty tow package available. The warranty is 4 years or 80,000 km (49,710 mi).

Take this to your test drive

Ask whether the heavy-duty tow package is on the vehicle you are buying.
