The Macan Electric is Porsche's electric compact SUV on an 800-volt platform. For 2026 there are five versions, all with a 95 kWh battery: the rear-wheel-drive Macan and the all-wheel-drive Macan 4, 4S, GTS and Turbo. Adaptive air suspension and a heat pump are standard, and towing rose to 5,500 lb (2,495 kg) for 2026. The Macan Electric does not have a NACS port. The base Macan is rear-wheel drive with the most range. The Macan 4 adds all-wheel drive for $3,900 more. The 4S, GTS and Turbo add power, up to 630 hp, with a little less range, according to MotorMouth's notes.
For Canadian winters, the Macan 4 is the natural starting point; drive it before moving up.

On an 800-volt fast charger the Macan charges at up to 270 kW, from 10 to 80% in about 21 minutes; at 400-volt stations it takes about 33 minutes. It does not have a NACS port, according to MotorMouth's notes.

Rear-axle steering and the Sport Chrono package are available. One viewer wrote after the 2025 review: "The Macan EV is the best EV to date in my opinion. It has good range, good power, good practicality, and doesn’t depend too much on unnecessary tech."
Try the standard seats as well as the sport seats; the bolsters on the sport seats make getting in harder.
