The 4Runner is a four-wheel-drive SUV on Toyota's TNGA-F truck platform, shared with the Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser and Sequoia. The current generation arrived for 2025, and Toyota Canada offers nine 2026 models. Four use a 2.4 L turbocharged gas engine with 278 hp and 317 lb-ft; five use the i-FORCE MAX hybrid with 326 system hp and 465 lb-ft. The SR5 and Limited have three rows and seven seats; the other grades Toyota Canada describes have two rows and five seats. The lineup runs from the SR5 at $55,270 to the i-FORCE MAX Trailhunter at $85,304. Every 2026 model uses an eight-speed automatic, and fuel consumption figures are Natural Resources Canada's 2026 ratings, labelled as such.
