Ever see a car and know you have to have it, right off the bat? That seems to be the experience of millions in North America upon Ford's reveal of the all-new 2021 two-door Bronco earlier this year. Set to debut by spring 2021, this machine is a showstopper not just with its rugged good looks but, ultimately, thanks to its mesmerizing promised performance.

This SUV is set to come packed with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that creates a fantastic 270 HP and torque of 310 lb.-ft.—in fact, that latter number is best-in-class! Even better, there's an optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with 310 horses and 400 lb.-ft. of torque.

If those mind-melting engine specs weren't enough, you’ll be thrilled to learn that the new 2021 two-door Bronco brings sensational utility features to the table—it’s not just a borrowed, modernized aesthetic from the ’96 Bronco (although that’s nothing to sneeze at). The new iteration boasts an 11.6-inch ground clearance with 33+ inches of water fording. Incredible.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is wasting no time, Penticton. Ahead of its release in B.C. just a bit later this year, the machine has already scored a win in an off-road race.

Driver and navigator tandem, Shelby Hall and Penny Dale, drove the 2021 Bronco Sport to victory at the prestigious Rebelle Rally event this past Saturday. They grabbed first place in the X-Cross class event, which is a week-long journey that requires each participant to trek across 1,200 miles of California and Nevada desert. Only compass-and-map navigation may be used—no new-fangled GPS technology.

“Just finishing Rebelle is an impressive feat – we’re proud of all three Bronco Sport teams,” said Mark Grueber, Bronco brand marketing manager. “The results really underscore that Bronco Sport delivers, both for seasoned pros and off-road novices. All of these women embody what Built Wild™ stands for, and the first-place finish by Shelby and Penny helps establish this all-new vehicle as the Bronco of small SUVs.”
