Are you ready for the future of hands-free driver assist technology? Ford is.
Coming in late 2021 to the all-new Mustang Mach-E and F-150 via over-the-air update, Active Drive Assist will enable limited hands-free driving when motoring on “Hands-Free Zones.†These zones will first exist in North America across a stretch of approx. 100,000 miles of prequalified sections of divided highways.
Â
Ford’s new hands-free Active Drive Assist technology is part of its Co-Pilot360™ suite of features and will utilize advanced computing of camera and radar sensing technologies to provide real-time hands-free driving. It will either be standard or an affordable option on Mach-E SUVs and F-150 trucks, and more Hands-Free Zones will become available throughout North America as time passes. 100,000 vehicles with the technology are expected to sell in the first year.
