The 2021 RAM 1500 features the Uconnect infotainment system. Each trim has this interface, with screen sizes ranging from 5 to 12 inches. In addition to a variety of tools and audio options, you get a smartphone app.The Uconnect App allows you to see vehicle data and get alerts on your device or via email. For example, you can get reminders when it is time to make an appointment for scheduled maintenance.Â
Uconnect provides a Vehicle Health Report via email that issues warnings when sensors in your RAM 1500 detect a problem. The system uses different icons to tell you whether a component is functioning correctly, needs to be checked, or requires immediate emergency service. Unlike dashboard alerts, this tool displays an explanation of the issue and suggests a course of action.Â
The Uconnect App offers this type of diagnostic information for the powertrain, vehicle fluids, safety systems, and braking and suspension components. You can get tire pressure readings and other data, as well. It also provides details for nearby service centres so that you can have opening hours and contact numbers right at your fingertips.Â
