2020 Chrysler 300S Boasts V8 Power In Lower Mainland BC

High-performance is no longer reserved for the soft-top market. Instead Chrysler promises pure V8 power - bringing the 2020 300S to the Lower Mainland and redefining sedan expectations. Offered on the new 300S is a 5.7L HEMI V8. This VVT block generates up to 363 HP and 394 lb.-ft of torque (compared to the base 3.6L Pentastar V6’s 292 HP and 260 lb.-ft of torque). An eight-speed automatic transmission affords smooth control, courtesy of its wide-gear ratio spread; while sport-tuned electric steering enhances driver responses. A multi-displacement system further improves performance, recognizing acceleration patterns and seamlessly activating the eight available cylinders as needed. This creates a more robust power-band, letting this platform rev from 0 to 60 in approximately six seconds.Â
BC drivers won’t have to compromise economy for speed, however. The 2020 300S earns up to 14.7 L/100km in the city and 9.4 L/100km on the highway - ensuring that less time is spent searching for a station pump.
