Driving a large, heavy-duty truck like the 2021 Ram 3500 across BC can be tricky, which is why it has a Lane Departure Warning system with Keep Assist available. This feature helps you stay in line on highways all over the province.
It works by detecting lane markings on the road and monitoring your position. If it senses that you're drifting out of alignment without flashing a turn signal, you will see a warning pop up in the instrument cluster behind the steering column. It can also gently bump the wheel to help you drive back to the centre line.
If there is no input from you after a set period of time, Lane Keep Assist is capable of automatically steering the Ram 3500 back into line as well. This keeps both you and other motorists safe on BC’s highways.
