Rough terrains no longer prove a challenge - not as the 2020 Grand Cherokee delivers electronic stability control (ESC) to BC. Adventure with full confidence.Â
Anchoring the new Jeep Grand Cherokee are a series of sensors. These are strategically placed across the body, releasing real-time signals that constantly assess key performance metrics (including trajectory and speed). When a sudden issue - such as drifting out of proper alignment - is detected, they will then coordinate with the platform’s many stability functions to devise the best backroad solution.
The electronic roll mitigation system will be engaged, seamlessly adjusting traction outputs to steady yaw rates; while the ABS function will activate its Brake Assist tech, carefully decreasing speed to promote better balance. Trailer Sway Control (if applicable) will also bolster performance, reducing overall engine torque to stabilize revs and improve operator responses. These features will all work in tandem, as directed by the ESC, and will ensure smooth handling on even the toughest trails.
Electronic stability control assures full confidence on any road. To learn more about this system - or to schedule a test-drive in one of our available 2020 Grand Cherokee models - contact our team today.
