Even the most attentive drivers in BC could do with a little help when driving in dark conditions. That’s why the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has both drowsy driver detection and a night vision camera available.
This camera uses infrared sensors that function up to 219 yards (200 metres) ahead of you by scanning the heat emitted from objects in your path using thermographic technology. Anything detected – such as pedestrians or deer – will clearly have their positions displayed on the instrument cluster right in front of you so you can plan accordingly.
Pair this system with the available drowsy driver detection feature to get further peace of mind. It monitors the steering wheel and will sound an alert if you are drifting or otherwise mishandling the SUV during nighttime drives in BC.
