Los Suenos plays hosts to countless marine creatures, but few are as unusual as the Roosterfish. This breed is silver-scaled and large, with a spiny-plume rising along its back and cutting through the water. It’s an inshore predator that’s as tasty to eat as it is challenging to catch.
The Roosterfish will feast on most small creatures, showing few preferences toward flavor or blood trails. For the best results, however, choose options like Skipjacks and Lady Fish. These tend to move well on the lines and will attract attention.
Artificial Bait
The Roosterfish doesn’t respond strongly to artificial bait. Those forced to use it, though, should choose surface poppers and feathered circle hooks. These will draw the breed out and keep it interested.
