If you drive or love INFINITI vehicles, you’re probably all about their specs. At times, though, you may see some terms thrown around with which you are unfamiliar. Auto lingo is very specific and often varies by manufacturer, so it’s no wonder it can be a little confusing.
Take for instance the HomeLink Universal Transceiver. It sounds high-tech, right? Featured on many INFINITI vehicles, including the 2017 QX50, this fancy-sounding term actually refers to something fairly simple (yet amazing).
The HomeLink Universal Transceiver lets you take charge of your technology. It can be programmed to operate as many as three remotely controlled devices at your house, such as garage doors, lighting, or security systems. Being able to manipulate these from a vehicle is a big deal.
You can even store garage door or security codes within the program. The HomeLink is located on the ceiling of your car, above the driver’s center console. It’s convenient and makes life easier every time you forgot to turn off the light or alarm the house.
If this sounds like something you want on your next car, stop by our INFINITI of Tacoma dealership today. Take a test drive of the 2017 QX50, which showcases this amazing technology, as well as plenty of other excellent features, such as heated seats with memory. Hurry in!Â
