At one time or another, we have all had to do "the dance." You know the one. This all-new sporty crossover is equipped with a proprietary Motion-Activated Liftgate â€” a convenient exterior feature that will undoubtedly make your life easier. It operates by way of a sensor on the back fender. When the fob-holder is within range of the vehicle â€” about three feet from the rear â€” the smart unit will detect the Intelligent Key and activate itself, at the ready should you need it.

From there, for entry into the cargo space, one must simply raise their foot within four inches of the bumper. Three beeps will sound and the hatch will either open or close (depending on its current position). There is no need to keep your leg raised for an extended period of seconds, nor do you need to move it side to side. The monitor is hyper-aware, requiring only the smallest amount of effort on your part.
