Chances are, if you’re interested in a three-row, seven-passenger vehicle, then you will likely be commuting with some precious cargo on board. Lucky for you, the 2017 INFINITI QX60 is available with all the safety bells and whistles.
Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection utilizes sensors on the front of the fascia to identify any potential obstructions in your path. In the event of a possible collision, the smart CPU will intuitively apply pressure to the dampers to either stop the vehicle altogether or, at the very least, minimize the speed of impact.
Blind Spot Warning works by employing radars on the rear bumper to monitor other vehicles operating outside the driver’s line of vision. If you happen to approach a lane marker where the coast is not clear, the system will alert you.
Meanwhile, Lane Departure Warning functions similarly by monitoring markings on the pavement below. In the event of unintentional swerving or drifting, the CPU will preemptively notify you, in order to adjust your QX60 back on its rightful course.

While 2016 showcased a sharp modern aesthetic for the best-selling crossover, the 2017 INFINITI QX60 features even more enhancements, providing upgraded dynamic performance.
For starters, the 3.5-liter V6 engine was revised with a direct injection system. With more precise fuel delivery, the CUV sees an increase in fuel efficiency (earning 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway, up from 19 and 26, respectively) and higher power output. This fresh motor model produces 295 HP (up from 265) with 270 lb-ft of torque (up from 248).
Matched with a sport-tuned, electronically manipulated continuously variable transmission, this ride offers smooth and seamless shifting. By integrating what automakers call, “D-Step Logic†into the CVT, the software monitors inputs such as speed and pedal position in order to pre-determine the ideal gear ratio and provide responsive lurch-free acceleration.
To further impress, the QX60 powertrain utilizes more than 50 percent new parts and components — including combustion chamber design, pistons, and the intake manifold. These intentional changes contribute to an abundant fluidity in handling and execution.

Commonly heard in the “fast fashion†industry, on early morning talk-shows, and from pre-teens who haven’t had their breakfast yet — “That is so last year,†is often applied to anything remotely out of date. However, what you will never hear it in reference to is the 2017 INFINITI QX60.
Thanks to elegant styling and daring proportions, this luxury crossover has curb appeal. The Car Connection calls it, “nicely detailed, and tastefully modern†and we tend to agree. With an overall length, width, and height of 200.1 inches, 77.2 inches, and 68.6 inches, respectively, a long double-wave hood completely eliminates any chance of this CUV being mistaken for a minivan.
Featuring the brand’s iconic double-arch meshed grille, the front fascia also includes a pair of bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights. Meanwhile, flowing character lines and a distinctive crescent-cut D-pillar contributes to the QX60's unique greenhouse shape.
The backside of this sharp ride showcases a sporty chrome finisher across the hatch and an integrated rear tunnel spoiler. Privacy glass on the large terminal window is not only convenient when stowing personal belongings in the trunk, but also adds to the upscale exterior.
