It’s hard to imagine how Nissan’s luxury brand’s automakers managed to achieve aerodynamic efficiency in their most popular full-sized SUV. And yet, somehow they did.Â
Â
The 2019 INFINITI QX60 may look dominant with its bold stature. Coming in at 200.6 inches in length, 77.2 inches in width, and 68.6 inches in height, it unquestionably holds court on the roads. However, thanks to smooth and intentional exterior styling, it achieves an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.33. Not only does a rating like this contribute to a fluid drive, but it also informs fuel economy. Impressively enough, this grandiose auto earns a combined 22 MPG. These solid numbers can be attributed to specific architectural decisions.
For starters, the QX60 benefits from both front underbody and rear integrated tunnel spoilers. Not only do these units give the bold sports utility vehicle an aggressive look, but they also help to manage airflow.
Meanwhile, back tire deflectors help to control the wind currents around the carrier. By channeling gusts in a precise direction, the result is an added downward force. This helps to keep the tires firmly attached to the ground, promoting sticky road-holding and high-speed stability.
Together, these features work in conjunction with one another to deliver zero lift results at both ends of your ride.

While the 2019 INFINITI QX60 may be bold in size, its three-row, seven-occupant stature puts no damper on its performance prowess. Rest assured, with a powertrain this reliable, you need not worry about being late to pick the kids up from school.
Equipped with 3.5-liter V6 engine, this dominant SUV is rated at 295 HP and 270 lb-ft. of torque. Fitted with a Direct Injection Gasoline system, rather than mixing with oxygen beforehand, the fuel is sent directly into the combustion chamber. This takes out an entire step, allowing for more efficiency as the juice gets burned precisely where and when it’s needed.
The QX60 is matched with a sport-tuned, continuously variable transmission. The advanced drive-by-wire system utilizes D-Step Logic to determine the ideal gear ratio required for smooth and constant acceleration. By monitoring a series of dynamic inputs (such as vehicle speed, pedal position, and motorist behaviors), the intuitive software makes shifting lurch-free and seamless.
To further impress, even loaded to the brim with as many passengers (and all of their personal belongings) as there are seat belts, this capacious carrier maintains a respectable fuel economy rating. Earning up to 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway, it’s easy to see why this ride is such an obvious choice for Washington families.

The 2019 INFINITI QX60 is a full-sized crossover that transcends the ordinary. More than just a capacious carrier capable of occupying up to seven passengers in its three rows of seating, it provides a superior interior design. No matter where you’re traveling to, or how many “are we there yet’s†are echoing from the back, the elegant craftsmanship evokes a sense of luxury that can’t be denied.
Signature to INFINITI vehicles, the driver-oriented cockpit instantly envelops both operator and passenger alike in a warm embrace. The instrument panel possesses a wave-like flow to its architecture and is highlighted by the 8-inch Intelligent-View Display which provides a multitude of critical operational details and triggers. Driver Assistance features, trip statistics, and the like can all be accessed from this center meter cluster via steering wheel-mounted buttons.
The cabin showcases a medley of high-quality materials, earning it a timeless bespoke feel. Leatherette seating with a quilted base comes available in four unique color options — Graphite, Java, Wheat, and Stone. Meanwhile, thin chrome accents are complemented by maple or dark silver wood trims. Additionally, contrast stitching on the dash and door panels help to inform the rich and distinguished aesthetic.
To further impress, a tri-zone automatic temperature control system comes standard on every model of the QX60. Ensuring the comfort of all riders, the CCS also includes a built-in microfilter that reduces both dust and pollen from the outside air.
